So the Lord sparked the enthusiasm of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the enthusiasm of Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the enthusiasm of the whole remnant of God’s people. They began to work on the house of their God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,

So the LORD energized and encouraged Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak, and the whole remnant of the people. They came and worked on the temple of their God, the LORD who rules over all.

那時撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞、以及所有剩下的人民、都聽從了永恆主他們的上帝的聲音、和永恆主他們的上帝所差遣的神言人哈該的話；人民在永恆主面前都存着敬畏的心。

奏王知道：我們往猶大省去，到了上帝宏大之殿。這殿是用琢光的石頭建造的，梁木插入牆內。這工程在他們手下作得很周到又很順利。

所以我親愛的弟兄們，你們要堅定、不搖動，時常充溢出主的工，因為知道你們的勞苦在主裏面不是空的。

永恆主我們列祖的上帝是當受祝頌的，因為他將這樣的意思放在王的心意中，使他去修飾那在耶路撒冷的永恆主之殿；上帝又使我在王和王眾參謀跟王所有英勇軍官面前蒙恩寵。因為永恆主我的上帝的手幫助了我，我就壯膽；我便從以色列中選拔了首領、和我一同上來。

於是猶大和便雅憫父系的族長、祭司和利未人、凡心被上帝激動的、都起來，要上去重建在耶路撒冷之永恆主的殿。

故此以色列的上帝激動了亞述王普勒的心、就是亞述王提革拉毘尼色的心，王就使如便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半族派的人流亡到哈臘、哈博、哈拉、和歌散河邊；他們的後裔到今日還在那裏。

當你的軍隊出戰的日子，你的眾民都甘心樂意地在聖山上服役；從晨曦初現時你就有了你那青春的朝氣。

在一切良善上使你們完備，好行他的旨意；願他在我們身上、藉着耶穌基督、行他看為可喜歡的事；願榮耀歸於他，世世無窮！阿們。

恩賜雖分了多種多樣，靈卻是同一的；服役職事雖分了多種多樣，主卻是同一的；「效力」雖分了多種多樣，上帝卻是同一的；是他在萬人裏面以動力運行萬事的。不過各人稟受靈之表顯、是要有益於人的。有人藉着靈、稟受智慧的話；另有人依這同一的靈稟受知識的話；另有別人本着這同一的靈稟受深信之心；另有人本着這獨一的靈稟受行醫的恩賜；另有人稟受異能的效力；另有人稟受神言傳講的才能；另有人稟受辨別諸靈的能力；另有別人稟受種種的捲舌頭話；又另有人對捲舌頭話稟受解明的才能：這一切都是這獨一而同一的靈以動力所運行的；他照他的意思一樣一樣分布給各人。

感謝上帝，把我為你們而發的這同樣熱切放在提多心裏。

所以我親愛的，你們既時常聽從了，就該敬畏戰兢地作成你們自己的得救；不但像我和你們同在時那樣，就是如今我和你們不同在時、你們也更應當聽從；因為是上帝、為了成全他的美意而運用動力於你們身上，使你們也立志也力行的。
