雖無花果之蕊不舒、葡萄樹之實不結、橄欖不復生果、田畝不復產物、牢中無群羊、廄內無牛犢、

因其時無花果樹不萌芽、葡萄樹不結實、油果樹不出油、田畝不產物、不產物或作不出穀牢中絕羊、圈內無牛、

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,

The fig trees might not bud. The vines might not produce any grapes. The olive crop might fail. The fields might not produce any food. There might not be any sheep in the pens. There might not be any cattle in the barns.

Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty,

Though the fig tree does not bud and there is no fruit on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though the flocks disappear from the pen and there are no herds in the stalls,

Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls,

Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls—

For though the fig- tree shall not flourish, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labor of the olive shall fail, And the fields shall yield no food; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls:

For though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls:

『然而是我使你們在各城牙齒乾淨、無物可嚼，使你們在各處糧食缺乏；你們仍不回來歸我』：永恆主發神諭說。『也是我在收割前還有三個月使雨停止不降在你們那裏；我降雨在一個城，不降雨在另一個城；這一塊地有雨，那一塊地無雨，就枯乾了。這樣、兩三個城的人就搖搖晃晃走到一個城去找水喝，也不得滿足；你們仍不回來歸我』：永恆主發神諭說。『我用旱風霉爛擊打你們，使你們的菜園和葡萄園荒廢；你們的無花果樹和橄欖樹都給剪蟲喫了，你們仍不回來歸我』：永恆主發神諭說。『我打發瘟疫在你們中間、像埃及的樣子；我用刀殺戮你們的青年人，同時叫你們的馬匹被劫掠；我使你們兵營中屍首的臭氣撲鼻，你們仍不回來歸我』：永恆主發神諭說。

他們必喫盡你的莊稼和糧食，喫盡你的兒子和女兒，喫盡你的羊羣和牛羣，喫盡你的葡萄和無花果；你所倚靠的堡壘城、他們必用刀劍來毁壞。』

田野毁壞，土地悲哀；因為五穀毁壞，新酒池令人失望，新油衰萎不繼。耕地的人很失望，修理葡萄園的哀號着，為了大麥小麥而悲哀；因為田間的莊稼都壞掉了。葡萄樹令人失望，無花果樹衰萎凋殘；石榴樹、及棕樹、蘋果樹、田野所有的樹木都枯乾了：唉，歡躍之樂也令人失望而不在人間了。祭司啊，腰束麻布而慟哭吧！伺候祭壇的啊，哀號哦！伺候我的上帝的啊，披着麻布進殿去過夜吧！因為素祭和奠祭都從你們的上帝殿中停止了。

糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了麼？歡喜快樂不是從我們的上帝殿中止息了麼？穀種在耙子底下都萎縮了；倉房淒涼，廩室翻毁，因為五穀令人失望了。牲口哀鳴着，牛羣滿處亂竄，因為找不到草場；羊羣也餓得發獃。

『但將來你若不聽永恆主你的上帝的聲音，而謹慎遵行他一切的誡命律例、就是我今日所吩咐你的，以下這一切咒詛就必臨到你，把你趕上。在城裏你必受咒詛，在田間你必受咒詛。你的筐子和你的摶麵盆必受咒詛。你腹中的果子、你土地上的果實、你幼小的牛和肥嫩的羊、必都受咒詛。

你們怎麼樣？那時有人到二十斗穀堆的田地，只得了十斗；有人到酒池旁，想舀到五十窟，只舀到二十窟。那時我用旱風和霉爛擊打你們，又用冰雹擊打你們手下的各樣農作物，你們仍然不歸向我：永恆主發神諭說。

『猶大悲哀，她的城門衰敗，人都披上黑衣坐在地上哀悼；耶路撒冷的哀號聲直往上升。他們的貴顯人打發家僮去打水；家僮來到沼池邊，見沒有水，就空着器皿回來，失望狼狽，抱頭無言。耕種土地的驚慌失措，因為沒有霖雨在地上；耕地的人都失望，抱頭蒙羞。連田野間的母鹿也剛生產就撇棄，因為沒有青草。野驢站在無草木的高處上，好像野狗在喘氣；他們的眼都失明，因為沒有草喫。『我們的罪孽雖作證告我們，永恆主啊，為你名的緣故行事吧！雖則我們多次轉離正道，犯罪得罪了你。以色列所希望的啊，他患難時的拯救者啊，你為甚麼像在這地寄居的？為甚麼像行路人只轉來住一宵呢？

你聘定了妻，別人必強姦她；你建造房屋，也不得住在裏面；你栽種葡萄園，也不能開始享用它的果子。你的牛在你眼前被屠宰了，你卻不能喫牠；你的驢從你面前被搶奪了，卻不得歸還給你；你的羊歸給了仇敵，也沒有人拯救你。你的兒女給了別族之民，你親眼看着；終日渴望他們、以至失明；你手也沒有能力作甚麼。你土地上的果實、你勞碌得來的、你不認識的族民必喫盡它；你只是日日不斷地受欺壓受壓制；以致你因眼中之所見、因你所要看到的事、而瘋狂。永恆主必在你膝上腿上用毒瘡擊打你、是不能醫治的；從你腳掌到頭頂，漫處都是。『永恆主必將你和你所立來管你的王領到你和你列祖素來不認識的國去；在那裏你必事奉別的神、是木頭石頭的。在永恆主所要領你到的列族之民中、你必成了令人驚骸、令人談笑譏刺的對象。你帶出到田間的種子雖多，收進來的卻少，因為蝗蟲要把它嘬盡了。你栽種修理葡萄園，卻不得收葡萄，也不得喝葡萄酒，因為蟲子要把它喫了。在你全境內、你必有橄欖樹，卻沒有油抹身，因為你的橄欖都未熟就脫落了。你必生兒養女，卻不算是你的，因為都要被擄去。
