Psalms 86:1-17
Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.Preserve my life, for I am godly; save your servant, who trusts in you— you are my God.Be gracious to me, O Lord, for to you do I cry all the day.Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; listen to my plea for grace.In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me.There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours.All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name.For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God.Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.O God, insolent men have risen up against me; a band of ruthless men seeks my life, and they do not set you before them.But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.Turn to me and be gracious to me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your maidservant.Show me a sign of your favor, that those who hate me may see and be put to shame because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

Psalms 7:1-17
O Lord my God, in you do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me,lest like a lion they tear my soul apart, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.O Lord my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands,if I have repaid my friend with evil or plundered my enemy without cause,let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it, and let him trample my life to the ground and lay my glory in the dust. SelahArise, O Lord, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies; awake for me; you have appointed a judgment.Let the assembly of the peoples be gathered about you; over it return on high.The Lord judges the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end, and may you establish the righteous— you who test the minds and hearts, O righteous God!My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day.If a man does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and readied his bow;he has prepared for him his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts.Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies.He makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made.His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence descends.I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.

Psalms 90:1-17
Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.You return man to dust and say,“ Return, O children of man!”For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning:in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers.For we are brought to an end by your anger; by your wrath we are dismayed.You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.For all our days pass away under your wrath; we bring our years to an end like a sigh.The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.Who considers the power of your anger, and your wrath according to the fear of you?So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.Return, O Lord! How long? Have pity on your servants!Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, and for as many years as we have seen evil.Let your work be shown to your servants, and your glorious power to their children.Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!
