Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you. For you have shed human blood; you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.

You have robbed many nations. So the nations that are left will rob you. You have spilled human blood. You have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.

Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you, for the blood of man and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell in them.

爾行強暴於利巴嫩、加殘害於羣獸、使之驚怖、且流人血、行強暴於其地其邑、及凡居於其中者、必反乎爾、○

列邦必服事之、延及子孫、迨其國之期既屆、則有多國大王、使之服役、

惟彼列邦、與耶路撒冷戰者、耶和華必加之以災、其足尚立時、其肉即腐、目腐於眶、舌腐於口、

萬軍之耶和華曰、以色列人及猶大人、同受暴虐、虜之者堅持不釋、贖之者有力、厥名為萬軍之耶和華、必伸其冤、錫大地綏安、使巴比倫居民煩擾、

我必懲罰彼勒於巴比倫、出所吞者於其口、列邦不復匯之、巴比倫之城垣、必傾覆焉、○

錫安民曰、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒噬我毀我、棄我如空器、吞我如鱷魚、以我珍饈果腹、驅我而出、彼虐遇我、暨我骨肉、願罪歸巴比倫、耶路撒冷民曰、彼流我血、願罪歸迦勒底居民、

刃臨於其馬與車、暨其中雜族、使若婦女、刃臨於其貨財、使遭攘奪、

我深不悅安逸之列邦、蓋我微怒斯民、彼則加以苦難、

昔我震怒我民、玷污我業、付於爾手、爾不之恤、以爾重軛加於耆老、

將亡之巴比倫女歟、以爾之待我者待爾、斯人其有福兮、

大聲呼曰、聖且誠之主宰乎、不鞫宅地之人、伸我流血之冤、至幾何時乎、

蓋耶和華使巴比倫荒蕪、絕其中之譁然、敵若大水、波濤漰渤、發其喧闐之聲、殘賊者臨於巴比倫、其武士被擒、其弓見折、蓋耶和華乃施報之上帝、必報之也、

爾之貨財被掠、若螣食禾、人趨赴之、如蝗之躍、

耶和華曰、迦勒底將見虜、凡虜之者、皆饜其欲、刧我業者歟、緣爾欣喜懽忭、放恣若踐穀之犢、嘶鳴若健馬、

天乎、諸聖徒與使徒及先知乎、宜因之而樂、蓋上帝以爾之鞫鞫彼也、○有大力之使者、舉石如大磨、投之於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、將如此猛然被投、不復見矣、鼓琴奏樂品簫吹角之聲、不復聞於爾間、百工不復見於爾間、磨聲不復聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新郎新婦之聲、不復聞於爾間、蓋爾諸商素為世之尊者、萬國亦以爾巫術而受惑矣、在彼見有諸先知聖徒、及凡世上見殺者之血、

自巴比倫逃脫者、揚聲宣告於錫安、我上帝耶和華復仇、為其殿宇復仇也、

居於諸水之濱、富有貨財者歟、爾之末期已屆、貪婪之量已盈、

我將使耶路撒冷為四周諸民致眩之杯、耶路撒冷被圍時、猶大亦得其佑、是日我將使耶路撒冷為諸民之重石、凡負之者、必受重傷、天下列邦、將集而攻之、耶和華曰、是日我將使諸馬驚駭、乘者顚狂、惟猶大家、我必垂顧之、列邦諸馬、我使之矇瞽、

萬軍之耶和華有言、為彰其榮、遣我至虜爾之邦、犯爾者、即犯其眸子也、我將向之搖手、彼必為其廝役所虜、爾則知萬軍之耶和華遣我矣、

斯時也、天地及凡所有、必因巴比倫、謳歌喜樂、殘賊者必自北方臨之、耶和華言之矣、

今有多國集而攻爾、曰、願彼被污、願我目睹所欲臨於錫安者、但彼不知耶和華之意、不明其謀、蓋耶和華集之、如集禾束在於禾場、錫安女歟、起而踐之、我必使爾角為鐵、爾蹄為銅、爾將擊碎多民、獻其利於耶和華、奉其財於全地之主、

巴比倫倏爾傾覆毀滅、當為之號咷、取乳香以醫其痛、庶可得愈、

以色列乃離散之羊、為獅所逐、始則亞述王吞噬之、終則巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒折其骨、故萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、我必罰巴比倫王與其地、若罰亞述王然、

凡噬爾者必被噬、敵爾者必被虜、掠爾者必遭掠、刦爾者、我必使之受刦、

爾之所謀、翦滅多民、貽羞爾家、自取罪戾、
