For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

The message I give you waits for the time I have appointed. It speaks about what is going to happen. And all of it will come true. It might take a while. But wait for it. You can be sure it will come. It will happen when I want it to.

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end— it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Now I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to future days.”

I rely on the LORD, I rely on him with my whole being; I wait for his assuring word.I yearn for the Lord, more than watchmen do for the morning, yes, more than watchmen do for the morning.

You will rise up and have compassion on Zion. For it is time to have mercy on her, for the appointed time has come.

And so you know what holds him back, so that he will be revealed in his own time.For the hidden power of lawlessness is already at work. However, the one who holds him back will do so until he is taken out of the way,and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out by the manifestation of his arrival.

For this reason the LORD is ready to show you mercy; he sits on his throne, ready to have compassion on you. Indeed, the LORD is a just God; all who wait for him in faith will be blessed.

Won’t God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long to help them?I tell you, he will give them justice speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

But I will keep watching for the LORD; I will wait for the God who delivers me. My God will hear my lament.

So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains.You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.

He told them,“ You are not permitted to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.

“‘ But when the seventy years are over, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation for their sins. I will make the land of Babylon an everlasting ruin. I, the LORD, affirm it!I will bring on that land everything that I said I would. I will bring on it everything that is written in this book. I will bring on it everything that Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations.For many nations and great kings will make slaves of the king of Babylon and his nation too. I will repay them for all they have done!’”

Even some of the wise will stumble, resulting in their refinement, purification, and cleansing until the time of the end, for it is still for the appointed time.

Then he said,“ I am going to inform you about what will happen in the latter time of wrath, for the vision pertains to the appointed time of the end.

Now there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon who was righteous and devout, looking for the restoration of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

He was still talking to them when the messenger approached and said,“ Look, the LORD is responsible for this disaster! Why should I continue to wait for the LORD to help?”

At the end of the 430 years, on the very day, all the regiments of the LORD went out of the land of Egypt.

But he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father.

These two kings, their minds filled with evil intentions, will trade lies with one another at the same table. But it will not succeed, for there is still an end at the appointed time.

From one man he made every nation of the human race to inhabit the entire earth, determining their set times and the fixed limits of the places where they would live,

And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their condemnation pronounced long ago is not sitting idly by; their destruction is not asleep.

So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. Then he said to me,“ Understand, son of man, that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

“ Seventy weeks have been determined concerning your people and your holy city to put an end to rebellion, to bring sin to completion, to atone for iniquity, to bring in perpetual righteousness, to seal up the prophetic vision, and to anoint a most holy place.So know and understand: From the issuing of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an anointed one, a prince arrives, there will be a period of seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will again be built, with plaza and moat, but in distressful times.Now after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one will be cut off and have nothing. As for the city and the sanctuary, the people of the coming prince will destroy them. But his end will come speedily like a flood. Until the end of the war that has been decreed there will be destruction.He will confirm a covenant with many for one week. But in the middle of that week he will bring sacrifices and offerings to a halt. On the wing of abominations will come one who destroys, until the decreed end is poured out on the one who destroys.”In the third year of King Cyrus of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel( who was also called Belteshazzar). This message was true and concerned a great war. He understood the message and gained insight by the vision.

All nations must serve him and his son and grandson until the time comes for his own nation to fall. Then many nations and great kings will in turn subjugate Babylon.
