永恆主啊，我和你辯訴時，你都是對的；但有一個案件、我還要跟你理論。惡人的路為甚麼順利亨通？大行詭詐的為甚麼安享興隆呢？

永恆主啊，早晨你必聽我的聲音；早晨我必向你陳明，來企望着。

你們既尋求基督在我裏面說話的經驗證據，我就說：基督對於你們並不是軟弱；他在你們中間是大有能力的。

在耶斯列有一個守望的人站在譙樓上，看見耶戶的洶湧軍隊一直地來，就說：『我看見一隊洶湧的軍兵。』約蘭說：『領一個騎兵，打發他去迎接他們，說：「平安麼？」』

我就知道他要回答我的話，我就明白他要對我說甚麼。難道他是用大權勢同我爭辯麼？不！他一定留心聽我。在他那裏、正直人可以同他辯訴；我就永蒙搭救、脫離那審判我的。

永恆主啊，你不是從亙古就有麼？我的上帝、我的聖者啊，你是不死的。永恆主啊，你派定他們以施判罰，磐石啊，你設立他們以行譴責。你眼目清潔不看壞事，你是不能逕看着毒害舉動而不理的！為甚麼你逕看着詭詐不忠的人而不理？惡人吞滅了比自己正義的、你為甚麼靜默不動？竟使人像海中的魚，像無管轄者的爬行物呢？他用鈎子把他們都鈎上來，用網子給拉出來，用拉網給收集在一起，故此他歡喜快樂。就向網子獻祭，向拉網燻祭，因為藉着這些祭物他的分兒就肥美，他的食物就肥甘。因此他不斷地拔刀，殺戮列國人、毫不顧惜。

他們擺設筵席，鋪着氈毯，又喫又喝。將領們、起來哦！用油抹盾牌哦！

以色列人暗暗地行了不對的事、違背永恆主他們的上帝，在他們所有的城市、從瞭望人的譙樓、到有堡壘的城、他們都築了邱壇；
