主耶和华如此说：因你们拍手顿足，幸灾乐祸，藐视以色列地，

我必用钩子钩住你的腮颊，令江河中的鱼贴住你的鳞甲；我要把你和所有贴着鳞甲的鱼从你的江河中拉上来。我要把你和江河中的鱼全都抛弃在旷野；你必仆倒在田间，无人收殓，无人掩埋。我已将你给了地上的走兽、空中的飞鸟作食物。

西门说：“老师，我们整夜劳累，并没有打着什么。但依从你的话，我就下网。”他们下了网，圈住许多鱼，网险些裂开，就招手叫另一只船上的同伴来帮助。他们就来，把鱼装满了两只船，船甚至要沉下去。西门‧彼得看见，就俯伏在耶稣膝前，说：“主啊，离开我，我是个罪人。”他和一切跟他一起的人对打到了这一网的鱼都很惊讶。他的伙伴西庇太的儿子雅各、约翰，也是这样。耶稣对西门说：“不要怕！从今以后，你要得人了。”

你怎样因以色列家的地业荒凉而喜乐，我也要照你所做的对待你。西珥山哪，你和以东全地都必荒凉；人就知道我是耶和华。”

住在地上的人会因他们而欢喜快乐，互相馈送礼物，因为这两位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。

“人子啊，因推罗向耶路撒冷说：‘啊哈！那众民之门已经破坏，向我敞开；它既变为废墟，我必丰盛。’

凡过路的都向你拍掌。他们向耶路撒冷嗤笑，摇头：“这就是人称为全美的、称为全地所喜悦的城吗？”你所有的仇敌张口来攻击你；他们嗤笑，切齿，说：“我们把她吞灭了，这是我们所盼望的日子！我们终于等到了，亲眼看见了！”
