爾品至聖、惡者爾所不喜、暴者爾所不悅、今人強據我有、何爾反佑之、惡者害義、何爾默不一言乎。

你眼目清潔不看壞事，你是不能逕看着毒害舉動而不理的！為甚麼你逕看着詭詐不忠的人而不理？惡人吞滅了比自己正義的、你為甚麼靜默不動？

爾目清潔、不視邪惡、不觀橫逆、爾何顧諟行詐者乎、惡人吞噬義於己者、爾何緘默乎、

主目至潔、不欲觀妄為、不欲視惡行、今人作罪、作罪或作行欺詐之事主何為徒觀、惡人害較己尤義者、主何為默然不言乎、

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. Why then do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?

Your eyes are too pure to look at what is evil. You can’t put up with the wrong things people do. So why do you put up with those who can’t be trusted? The evil Babylonians swallow up those who are more godly than themselves. So why are you silent?

You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, why do you idly look at traitors and remain silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?

But you are pure and cannot stand the sight of evil. Will you wink at their treachery? Should you be silent while the wicked swallow up people more righteous than they?

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil, and you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. So why do you tolerate those who are treacherous? Why are you silent while one who is wicked swallows up one who is more righteous than himself?

Your eyes are too pure to look at evil, And You cannot look at harm favorably. Why do You look favorably At those who deal treacherously? Why are You silent when the wicked swallow up Those more righteous than they?

You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, And cannot look on wickedness. Why do You look on those who deal treacherously, And hold Your tongue when the wicked devours A person more righteous than he?

Thou that art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and that canst not look on perverseness, wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy peace when the wicked swalloweth up the man that is more righteous than he;

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil, and You cannot tolerate wrongdoing. So why do You tolerate those who are treacherous? Why are You silent while one who is wicked swallows up one who is more righteous than himself?

[ Thou art] of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously,[ and] holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth[ the man that is] more righteous than he?

You are too just to tolerate evil; you are unable to condone wrongdoing. So why do you put up with such treacherous people? Why do you say nothing when the wicked devour those more righteous than they are?

You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously, and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,

耶和華青睞義人、俯聞其祈兮、作惡者流、則震怒之、不許垂名後世兮。

耶利米曰、耶和華與、吾訴於爾前、爾惟公是秉。即以爾行事論之、作惡者享通、逆理者平康、誠何故哉。爾栽植斯人、遂發根株、長而結果、口則附爾、心則遠爾。

耶和華與、毋遐棄予、毋扑責予、毋屯爾膏。

我上帝涖臨、聿駿厥聲、電閃於前、大風四起兮、

喑者代為口、危者伸其冤。秉公義、救貧乏。

作惡者流、願爾摧傷、窮詰厥罪而弗宥兮。

此人也、上帝定旨、敕命解之、爾曹果以不義之手、取而釘之死、

彼刃擊二人、較己尤善、即以色列族軍長尼耳子押尼耳、猶大族軍長益帖子亞馬撒、我父大闢不之知也、今耶和華必以是罪歸之。

惡者欲害義人、銜憾而切齒兮。主鑒惡人、知患難之將至、而哂之兮、惡者拔刃張弓、欲害貧乏、欲戮善良、不知其刃、反貫其衷、而折其弓兮、

主耶和華兮、爾鑒察之、莫予不聽、毋予遐棄兮。

惡者覬間、欲殺善人兮。維彼善人、耶和華不之遐棄、而加以罪兮、

我觀惡人、反居顯要、不禁生艷羨之心兮、

我弗譴爾、遂謂我與人無異、我必責爾、彰爾罪戾兮、

自主視之、即聖者猶未盡善、在天之人、猶未盡潔。

耶和華其位在天兮、居彼聖所、鑒察人民兮、為義之人、蒙其眷顧兮、刁惡強悍之徒、為其所惡兮、電光閃兮硫火降、災飆發兮報施不爽、耶和華無不義兮、秉大公、俯念兮善氓。

維彼罪人兮、上帝不悅、不許同居、行暴兮爾所遠、品惡兮爾所疾、

今爾居尊位、意者將使爾保全我族、未可知也、如爾竟無一言、必有他人援手、恐爾與全家、卒見剿滅耳。

何患難時、耶和華遙立、弗眷顧兮、惡者驕肆、虐遇貧乏、設謀以陷之兮、

民自相爭、虐遇攘奪、至於召禍、爾何使我目睹乎、惡者枉法、環攻義人、律例俱廢、伸其冤者、卒無一人。

我得默示、知患難將至、強者行攘奪、暴者行虐遇、無所禁止、以攔人、米太人往哉、環攻巴比倫、維昔巴比倫俾民哀號、己不令此聲入耳矣。

夫亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之上帝、固我祖之上帝、榮其子耶穌、而爾曹解之、彼拉多擬釋之、而爾曹於其前棄之、是爾棄聖義之人、反求釋兇人、是爾殺生命之主、即上帝復起之者、我儕為證、

況爾行惡、入義者之家、殺之於床、我豈不罰爾罪、絕爾於地乎。

至能之上帝兮、爾毋默然、拯余勿緩兮、

人不虐爾、而爾虐人、人不誣爾、而爾誣人、禍將及矣、爾以誣虐施諸人、則人待爾亦若是、

上帝兮、人欲噬子、日加虐遇、求施矜憫兮、予敵眾多、厥心傲辟、日尋干戈、肆其橫噬兮、

召爾者乃聖、爾所行亦當若是、經曰、吾聖矣、爾亦當聖、
