Are you not from eternity, LORD my God? My Holy One, you will not die. LORD, you appointed them to execute judgment; my Rock, you destined them to punish us.

耶和华我的神，我的圣者啊，你不是从亘古而有吗？我们必不致死。耶和华啊，你派定他为要刑罚人；磐石啊，你设立他为要惩治人。

Lord, are you not from everlasting? My God, my Holy One, you will never die. You, Lord, have appointed them to execute judgment; you, my Rock, have ordained them to punish.

Lord, haven’t you existed forever? You are my holy God. You will never die. Lord, you have appointed the Babylonians to punish your people. My Rock, you have chosen them to judge us.

Are you not from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, you have ordained them as a judgment, and you, O Rock, have established them for reproof.

O Lord my God, my Holy One, you who are eternal— surely you do not plan to wipe us out? O Lord, our Rock, you have sent these Babylonians to correct us, to punish us for our many sins.

Are You not from time everlasting, Lord, my God, my Holy One? We will not die. You, Lord, have appointed them to deliver judgment; And You, O Rock, have destined them to punish.

Art not thou from everlasting, O Jehovah my God, my Holy One? we shall not die. O Jehovah, thou hast ordained him for judgment; and thou, O Rock, hast established him for correction.

[ Art] thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

LORD, you have been active from ancient times; my sovereign God, you are immortal. LORD, you have made them your instrument of judgment. Protector, you have appointed them as your instrument of punishment.

Aren’t you from everlasting, Yahweh my God, my Holy One? We will not die. Yahweh, you have appointed him for judgment. You, Rock, have established him to punish.

The Rock— his work is perfect; all his ways are just. A faithful God, without bias, he is righteous and true.

Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from eternity to eternity, you are God.

And you, my servant Jacob, do not be afraid— this is the LORD’s declaration— for I will be with you. I will bring destruction on all the nations where I have banished you, but I will not bring destruction on you. I will discipline you with justice, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

For I will be with you— this is the LORD’s declaration— to save you! I will bring destruction on all the nations where I have scattered you; however, I will not bring destruction on you. I will discipline you justly, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

The God of old is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you and commands,“ Destroy!”

Your throne has been established from the beginning; you are from eternity.

Look, the eyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom, and I will obliterate it from the face of the earth. However, I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob— this is the LORD’s declaration—for I am about to give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations, as one shakes a sieve, but not a pebble will fall to the ground.

“ Because I, the LORD, have not changed, you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.

I am going to send for all the families of the north’— this is the LORD’s declaration—‘ and send for my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will bring them against this land, against its residents, and against all these surrounding nations, and I will completely destroy them and make them an example of horror and scorn, and ruins forever.I will eliminate the sound of joy and gladness from them— the voice of the groom and the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.This whole land will become a desolate ruin, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon for seventy years.When the seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation’— this is the LORD’s declaration—‘ the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, and I will make it a ruin forever.I will bring on that land all my words I have spoken against it, all that is written in this book that Jeremiah prophesied against all the nations.For many nations and great kings will enslave them, and I will repay them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.’”

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Woe to Assyria, the rod of my anger— the staff in their hands is my wrath.I will send him against a godless nation; I will command him to go against a people destined for my rage, to take spoils, to plunder, and to trample them down like clay in the streets.But this is not what he intends; this is not what he plans. It is his intent to destroy and to cut off many nations.

Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; one will come from you to be ruler over Israel for me. His origin is from antiquity, from ancient times.

This is what the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, says to one who is despised, to one abhorred by people, to a servant of rulers:“ Kings will see, princes will stand up, and they will all bow down because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel— and he has chosen you.”

Have you not heard? I designed it long ago; I planned it in days gone by. I have now brought it to pass, and you have crushed fortified cities into piles of rubble.

And: In the beginning, Lord, you established the earth, and the heavens are the works of your hands;they will perish, but you remain. They will all wear out like clothing;you will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed like clothing. But you are the same, and your years will never end.

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or lose heart when you are reproved by him,for the Lord disciplines the one he loves and punishes every son he receives.

How could one pursue a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the LORD had given them up?But their“ rock” is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede.

I will strengthen the arms of Babylon’s king, but Pharaoh’s arms will fall. They will know that I am the LORD when I place my sword in the hand of Babylon’s king and he wields it against the land of Egypt.

I have surely heard Ephraim moaning,“ You disciplined me, and I have been disciplined like an untrained calf. Take me back, so that I can return, for you, LORD, are my God.After my return, I felt regret; After I was instructed, I struck my thigh in grief. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.”Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, my inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the LORD’s declaration.

In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bloom and fill the whole world with fruit.Did the LORD strike Israel as he struck the one who struck Israel? Was Israel killed like those killed by the LORD?You disputed with Israel by banishing and driving her away. He removed her with his severe storm on the day of the east wind.Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be atoned for in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.For the fortified city will be desolate, pastures deserted and abandoned like a wilderness. Calves will graze there, and there they will spread out and strip its branches.

“ Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say,‘ The LORD has rejected the two families he had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.This is what the LORD says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,then I might also reject the descendants of Jacob and of my servant David. That is, I would not take rulers from his descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But in fact, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”

I will not die, but I will live and proclaim what the LORD has done.

Rise up, LORD! Confront him; bring him down. With your sword, save me from the wicked.

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look how they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’Therefore, prophesy and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them, my people, and lead you into the land of Israel.You will know that I am the LORD, my people, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I am the LORD. I have spoken, and I will do it. This is the declaration of the LORD.’”

There is no one holy like the LORD. There is no one besides you! And there is no rock like our God.

who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see, to him be honor and eternal power. Amen.

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

LORD, I have heard the report about you; LORD, I stand in awe of your deeds. Revive your work in these years; make it known in these years. In your wrath remember mercy!

You denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked to have a murderer released to you.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never becomes faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding.

You, LORD, are enthroned forever; your throne endures from generation to generation.

“ I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God,“ the one who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

I love you, LORD, my strength.

For this is what the LORD says:“ The whole land will be a desolation, but I will not finish it off.

saying,“ Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”

“ But even in those days”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ I will not finish you off.

For the High and Exalted One, who lives forever, whose name is holy, says this:“ I live in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and lowly of spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the oppressed.
