Then he sweeps by like the wind, and goes on. He is indeed guilty, whose strength is his god.”

他以自己的势力为神，像风猛然扫过，显为有罪。”

那时，他如风猛然扫过，他背叛，显为有罪；他以自己的力量为神明。

他们如狂风横扫而过，这些有罪的人把自己的力量奉为神明。”

然后扫荡如风吹过。他们是有罪的，因他们以自己的势力为神。

他以自己的勢力為神，像風猛然掃過，顯為有罪。

然後風一掃，他們就過去、而有罪！嘿，這就是他們的勢力，他們所看為神的！

彼以己力為神、其衝突也、若風飄過、致干罪戾、

精神倍長、向前遄征、復獲罪於耶和華、自謂其上帝所助。

於是其心尤為狂傲、前驅造孽、以勢力為神、

Then they sweep past like the wind and go on— guilty people, whose own strength is their god.”

They sweep past like the wind. Then they go on their way. They are guilty. They worship their own strength.”

Then they sweep by like the wind and go on, guilty men, whose own might is their god!”

Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; He commits offense, Ascribing this power to his god.”

Then shall he sweep by as a wind, and shall pass over, and be guilty, even he whose might is his god.

At that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem,“ A hot wind from the bare heights in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to winnow, nor to cleanse;a full wind from these will come for me. Now I will also utter judgments against them.”

Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of God’s house which was at Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines, drank from them.They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of bronze, of iron, of wood, and of stone.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him.

The king spoke and said,“ Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for the royal dwelling place, by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?”While the word was in the king’s mouth, a voice came from the sky, saying,“ O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken:‘ The kingdom has departed from you.You shall be driven from men; and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field. You shall be made to eat grass as oxen. Seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.’”This was fulfilled the same hour on Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from men, and ate grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the sky, until his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.
