Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; He commits offense, Ascribing this power to his god.”

他以自己的势力为神，像风猛然扫过，显为有罪。”

那时，他如风猛然扫过，他背叛，显为有罪；他以自己的力量为神明。

他们如狂风横扫而过，这些有罪的人把自己的力量奉为神明。”

然后扫荡如风吹过。他们是有罪的，因他们以自己的势力为神。

然後風一掃，他們就過去、而有罪！嘿，這就是他們的勢力，他們所看為神的！

彼以己力為神、其衝突也、若風飄過、致干罪戾、

精神倍長、向前遄征、復獲罪於耶和華、自謂其上帝所助。

於是其心尤為狂傲、前驅造孽、以勢力為神、

Then they sweep past like the wind and go on— guilty people, whose own strength is their god.”

They sweep past like the wind. Then they go on their way. They are guilty. They worship their own strength.”

Then they sweep by like the wind and go on, guilty men, whose own might is their god!”

At that time it will be said To this people and to Jerusalem,“ A dry wind of the desolate heights blows in the wilderness Toward the daughter of My people— Not to fan or to cleanse—A wind too strong for these will come for Me; Now I will also speak judgment against them.”

Then they brought the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple of the house of God which had been in Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them.They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him.

The king spoke, saying,“ Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven:“ King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you!And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.”That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws.And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation.
