Then they sweep past like the wind and go on— guilty people, whose own strength is their god.”

他以自己的势力为神，像风猛然扫过，显为有罪。”

那时，他如风猛然扫过，他背叛，显为有罪；他以自己的力量为神明。

他们如狂风横扫而过，这些有罪的人把自己的力量奉为神明。”

然后扫荡如风吹过。他们是有罪的，因他们以自己的势力为神。

他以自己的勢力為神，像風猛然掃過，顯為有罪。

然後風一掃，他們就過去、而有罪！嘿，這就是他們的勢力，他們所看為神的！

彼以己力為神、其衝突也、若風飄過、致干罪戾、

精神倍長、向前遄征、復獲罪於耶和華、自謂其上帝所助。

於是其心尤為狂傲、前驅造孽、以勢力為神、

They sweep past like the wind. Then they go on their way. They are guilty. They worship their own strength.”

Then they sweep by like the wind and go on, guilty men, whose own might is their god!”

They sweep past like the wind and are gone. But they are deeply guilty, for their own strength is their god.”

Then they fly along like the wind and pass on. But they will be held guilty, They whose strength is their god.”

Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; He commits offense, Ascribing this power to his god.”

Then shall he sweep by as a wind, and shall pass over, and be guilty, even he whose might is his god.

Then shall[ his] mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend,[ imputing] this his power unto his god.

They sweep by like the wind and pass on. But the one who considers himself a god will be held guilty.”

Then he sweeps by like the wind, and goes on. He is indeed guilty, whose strength is his god.”

At that time this people and Jerusalem will be told,“ A scorching wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward my people, but not to winnow or cleanse;a wind too strong for that comes from me. Now I pronounce my judgments against them.”

So they brought in the gold goblets that had been taken from the temple of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank from them.As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone.

But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.

he said,“ Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven,“ This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you.You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation.
