He said,“ May a curse be put on Canaan! He will be the lowest of slaves to his brothers.”

就说：“迦南当受咒诅，必给他弟兄作奴仆的奴仆。”

就说：“迦南当受诅咒，必给他弟兄作奴仆的奴仆。”

就说：“迦南当受诅咒，必给他弟兄作奴仆的奴仆。”

就说：“迦南该受咒诅，必做他弟兄的仆人的仆人。”

就说：“迦南应当受咒诅，他必给自己的兄弟，作奴仆的奴仆。”

就说：“迦南是受诅咒的！他必作自己兄弟们奴仆的奴仆。”

就說：迦南當受咒詛，必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕；

就說：「迦南當受詛咒，必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕。」

就說：「迦南當受詛咒，必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕。」

就說：「迦南該受咒詛，必做他弟兄的僕人的僕人。」

就說：“迦南應當受咒詛，他必給自己的兄弟，作奴僕的奴僕。”

就說：『迦南該受咒詛；他必給他的弟兄做奴僕的奴僕。』

就說：「迦南是受詛咒的！他必作自己兄弟們奴僕的奴僕。」

曰、迦南可詛、必於昆弟為奴之隸、

曰迦南可詛、必為僕役、以事兄弟。

迦南可詛、必為奴中之奴、以事其昆弟、

he said,“ Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.”

he said,“ Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”

Then he cursed Canaan, the son of Ham:“ May Canaan be cursed! May he be the lowest of servants to his relatives.”

he said: Canaan is cursed. He will be the lowest of slaves to his brothers.

So he said,“ Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers.”

Then he said:“ Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.”

And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

he said: Canaan will be cursed. He will be the lowest of slaves to his brothers.

And he said, Cursed[ be] Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

So he said,“ Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves he will be to his brothers.”

He said,“ Canaan is cursed. He will be a servant of servants to his brothers.”

So now you are under a curse. You will always serve us. You will always cut wood and carry water for the house of my God.”

“ May anyone who brings shame on their father or mother be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”

Jesus replied,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. Everyone who sins is a slave of sin.

There were still many people left in the land who weren’t Israelites. They included Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.They were children of the people who had lived in the land before the Israelites came. Those people had been set apart to the Lord in a special way to be destroyed. But the Israelites hadn’t been able to kill all of them. Solomon forced them to work very hard as his slaves. And they still work for Israel as slaves to this day.

Ham saw his father naked. Then Ham, the father of Canaan, went outside and told his two brothers.

Later, Israel became stronger. Then they forced the Canaanites to work hard for them. But Israel never drove them out completely.The tribe of Ephraim didn’t drive out the Canaanites living in Gezer. So the Canaanites continued to live there among them.The tribe of Zebulun didn’t drive out the Canaanites living in Kitron and Nahalol. So these Canaanites lived among them. But the people of Zebulun forced the Canaanites to work hard for them.

May the Lord put a curse on them because of their terrible anger. I will scatter them in Jacob’s land. I will spread them around in Israel.

That day he made them cut wood and carry water. They had to serve the community of Israel. They also had to do work connected with the altar of the Lord. The altar would be at the place the Lord would choose. And they still serve the Israelites to this day.

“ Then he will say to those on his left,‘ You are cursed! Go away from me into the fire that burns forever. It has been prepared for the devil and his angels.

So I am putting a curse on you. I am driving you away from this ground. It has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Your children will be cursed. Your crops will be cursed. Your calves and lambs will be cursed.

So the Lord God spoke to the serpent. He said,“ Because you have done this,“ You are set apart from all livestock and all wild animals. I am putting a curse on you. You will crawl on your belly. You will eat dust all the days of your life.
