The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.

All the land animals will be afraid of you. All the birds in the sky will be afraid of you. Every creature that moves along the ground will be afraid of you. So will every fish in the seas. Every living thing is put under your control.

The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered.

All the animals of the earth, all the birds of the sky, all the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the fish in the sea will look on you with fear and terror. I have placed them in your power.

The fear and terror of you will be in every living creature on the earth, every bird of the sky, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are placed under your authority.

原来，各类野兽、飞禽、爬行动物和水族都能被制伏，也已经被人类制伏了，

神祝福他们，又对他们说：“要繁衍增多，充满大地，并要管辖这地；也要管理海里的鱼、天空的飞鸟，以及在地上活动的一切生物。”

然后他们起程了。神使周围城邑的人都感到恐惧，因此他们就不追赶雅各的儿子们。

耶和华神用土塑造了田野各样野兽和天空各样飞鸟，把它们带到那人面前，看他怎么称呼它们。他怎么称呼每样活物，那就成了它的名字。

啊，人算什么，你竟顾念他！世人算什么，你竟眷顾他！你使他比神低微一点，赐给他荣耀威严为冠冕。你让他管辖你手所造的，把万有都放在他的脚下，就是所有的羊群、牛群、田野的走兽、天空的鸟、海里的鱼，以及所有游在海中之路的。

你设立黑暗，就有了夜，森林中的百兽在夜间爬行；少壮狮子吼叫猎食，寻求来自神的食物。太阳升起，它们就退回，到自己的巢穴里躺卧；而人出去工作，劳碌直到傍晚。
