The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.

All the land animals will be afraid of you. All the birds in the sky will be afraid of you. Every creature that moves along the ground will be afraid of you. So will every fish in the seas. Every living thing is put under your control.

The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered.

All the animals of the earth, all the birds of the sky, all the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the fish in the sea will look on you with fear and terror. I have placed them in your power.

The fear and terror of you will be in every living creature on the earth, every bird of the sky, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are placed under your authority.

各類飛禽、走獸、昆蟲、水族，都可以馴服，而且都已經被人類制伏了；

神就賜福給他們，對他們說：“要繁衍增多，充滿這地，征服它；也要管理海裡的魚、空中的鳥和地上所有走動的生物。”

對災殃和饑饉，一笑置之，地上的野獸你也不害怕。你必與田間的石頭立約，田間的野獸必與你和平相處。

我必使你們境內太平；你們睡覺，沒有人驚嚇你們；我使惡獸在境內絕跡；刀劍也不經過你們的地。

打發野地的走獸到你們中間，奪去你們的兒女，殘害你們的牲畜，減少你們的人口，使你們的道路荒涼。

他們出發了，神使周圍的城市都非常懼怕，他們就不追趕雅各的兒子。

“‘我必與牠們立平安的約，使惡獸從境內滅絕，牠們就可以在曠野安居，在樹林中躺臥。

到那日，為了他們，我必和田野的走獸、空中的飛鳥、地上爬行的動物立約；我必從這地折斷弓弩、刀劍和兵器（“兵器”原文作“戰爭”）；使他們安然居住。

耶和華神用泥土造了野地的各樣野獸，和空中的各樣飛鳥，把牠們都帶到那人面前，看他給牠們叫甚麼名字；那人怎樣叫各樣有生命的活物，那就是牠的名字。

啊！人算甚麼，你竟記念他？世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他？你使他比天使（“天使”或譯：“神”）低微一點，卻賜給他榮耀尊貴作冠冕。你叫他管理你手所造的，把萬物都放在他的腳下，就是所有的牛羊、田間的走獸、空中的飛鳥、海裡的魚，和海裡游行的水族。

你安設黑暗，有了晚上，林中的百獸就都爬出來。少壯獅子吼叫覓食，要尋求從神而來的食物。太陽升起的時候，牠們就躲避，回到自己的洞穴躺臥。人出去作工，勞碌直到晚上。
