The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.

All the land animals will be afraid of you. All the birds in the sky will be afraid of you. Every creature that moves along the ground will be afraid of you. So will every fish in the seas. Every living thing is put under your control.

The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered.

All the animals of the earth, all the birds of the sky, all the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the fish in the sea will look on you with fear and terror. I have placed them in your power.

The fear and terror of you will be in every living creature on the earth, every bird of the sky, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are placed under your authority.

自然界中的各類走獸、飛禽、爬蟲、水族都可以被馴服，也已經被人類馴服了，

上帝賜福給他們，對他們說：「你們要生養眾多，遍佈地面，治理大地，管理海裡的魚、空中的鳥以及地上的各種動物。」

你必笑對災殃和饑荒，毫不懼怕地上的野獸。你必與田間的石頭立約，野獸必與你和平相處。

「我要使你們得享太平，安枕無憂。我要除掉你們境內的猛獸，也要使你們免遭刀劍之災。

我要讓野獸殘害你們的子女，吞噬你們的牲畜，使你們人口銳減，路上杳無人跡。

他們就出發了，上帝使恐懼籠罩周圍的城邑，沒有人敢追趕他們。

「『我要跟他們立平安的約，除去地上的惡獸，讓他們在曠野安居，在叢林安睡。

那時，我要跟田間的走獸、空中的飛鳥及地上的爬蟲立約，使牠們不再傷害你。我要在你境內毀滅戰弓和刀劍，止息戰事，使你安居樂業。

耶和華上帝用塵土造了各種田野的走獸和空中的飛鳥，把牠們帶到那人跟前，看他怎麼稱呼這些動物。他叫這些動物什麼，牠們的名字就是什麼。

人算什麼，你竟顧念他！世人算什麼，你竟眷顧他！你叫他比天使低微一點，賜他榮耀和尊貴作冠冕。你派他管理你親手造的萬物，使萬物降服在他腳下：牛羊、田野的獸、空中的鳥、海裡的魚及其他水族。

你造黑暗，定為夜晚，作林中百獸出沒的時間。壯獅吼叫著覓食，尋找上帝所賜的食物。太陽升起，百獸便退回自己的洞窟中休息，人們外出工作，直到黃昏。
