白昼属你，黑夜也属你；亮光和太阳是你预备的。地的一切疆界是你立的，夏天和冬天是你定的。

看哪，因为冬天已逝，雨水止住，已经过去了。地上百花开放，歌唱的时候到了，斑鸠的声音在我们境内也听见了。

所以弟兄们，你们要忍耐，直到主来。看哪，农夫等候着地里宝贵的出产，耐心地等到它得了秋霖春雨。

他们心里并不说：‘我们应当敬畏耶和华—我们的神；他按时赐雨，就是秋雨和春雨，又为我们定收割的季节。’

我因涨溢的怒气，一时向你转脸，但我要以永远的慈爱怜悯你；这是耶和华—你的救赎主说的。这事于我有如挪亚的洪水；我怎样起誓不再使挪亚的洪水淹没全地，也照样起誓不再向你发怒，且不斥责你。
