“看哪！日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告），我必使以色列家和犹大家人口和牲畜繁衍。我先前怎样留意把他们拔出、拆毁、倾覆、毁灭和降灾；将来我也必照样留意把他们建立和栽种起来。”这是耶和华的宣告。

你们要繁衍增多；要在地上滋生、增多。”

他们一家，所有走兽各从其类，所有牲畜各从其类，所有在地上爬行的动物各从其类，所有有羽有翼的飞禽各从其类，有生命、有气息的，都是一对一对来到挪亚那里，进入方舟。

愿我们的仓库满溢，各种粮食不缺；愿我们牧场上的羊群，孳生千万。愿我们的牛群满驮货物；城墙没有缺口，没有人出去争战（“愿我们⋯⋯出去争战”或译：“愿我们的牛群多生多养，没有流产，没有死掉”），在我们的街上也没有呼叫的声音。

神就赐福给他们，对他们说：“要繁衍增多，充满这地，征服它；也要管理海里的鱼、空中的鸟和地上所有走动的生物。”
