Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

洪水在地上泛滥四十天，水往上涨，使方舟浮起，方舟就从地上漂起来。

四十昼夜有大雨降在地上。

耶和华说：“我要把所造的人和走兽，爬行动物，以及天空的飞鸟，都从地面上除灭，因为我造了他们感到遗憾。”

看哪，我要使洪水泛滥在地上，毁灭天下凡有生命气息的血肉之躯，地上的一切都要灭亡。

上帝对挪亚说：“在我面前，凡血肉之躯的结局已经临到，因着他们，地上充满了暴力。看哪，我要把他们和这地一起毁灭。

他们未到时候就被抓去；他们的根基被江河冲去。

“在收割的前三个月，我不降雨在你们那里，我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城；这块地有雨，那块无雨的地就必枯干。

他又另外等了七天，再放出鸽子，这次鸽子不再回到他那里了。

得胜的必这样穿白衣，我也不从生命册上涂去他的名；我要在我父面前，和我父的众使者面前，宣认他的名。

愿他们从生命册上被涂去，不得名列在义人之中。

要为风定轻重，又度量诸水，

使密云盛满水气，乌云散布闪电。云藉着他的指引游行旋转，在世界的地面上行他一切所吩咐的，

过了七天，洪水泛滥在地上。

你先为这个满了七日，我们就把那个也给你，不过你要另外再服事我七年。”雅各就这样做了。满了利亚的七日，拉班就把女儿拉结给雅各为妻。

现在，求你赦免他们的罪；不然，就把我从你所写的册上除名。”耶和华对摩西说：“谁得罪我，我就把他从我的册上除去。

地上还没有田野的草木，田间的菜蔬还没有长出来，因为耶和华上帝还没有降雨在地上，也没有人耕种土地。

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的年岁还可到一百二十年。”

因他吸取水点，水点就从云雾中变成雨；云彩将雨落下，沛然降于世人。又有谁能明白密云如何铺张，和上帝行宫的雷声呢？看哪，他的亮光普照自己的四围；他覆盖海的深处。因他用这些审判众民，又赐丰富的粮食。他以闪电遮手掌，命令它击中靶子。

凡有血肉在地上行动的，就是飞鸟、牲畜、走兽和地上成群的群聚动物，以及所有的人，都死了。在干地上凡鼻孔里有生命气息的都死了。耶和华除灭了地面上各类的生物，包括人和牲畜、爬行动物，以及天空的飞鸟；他们就都从地上除灭了，只剩下挪亚和那些与他同在方舟里的。

挪亚又另外等了七天，再把鸽子从方舟放出去。
