Then God said to Noah,“ The end of humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

Who were snatched away before their time, Whose foundations were washed away by a river?

“ Furthermore, I withheld the rain from you While there were still three months until harvest. Then I would send rain on one city, But on another city I would not send rain; One part would be rained on, While the part not rained on would dry up.

Then he waited another seven days longer, and sent out the dove; but it did not return to him again.

The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

May they be wiped out of the book of life, And may they not be recorded with the righteous.

When He imparted weight to the wind, And assessed the waters by measure,

He also loads the clouds with moisture; He disperses the cloud of His lightning.It changes direction, turning around by His guidance, That it may do whatever He commands it On the face of the inhabited earth.

Now it came about after the seven days, that the waters of the flood came upon the earth.

So all creatures that moved on the earth perished: birds, livestock, animals, and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind;of all that was on the dry land, all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.So He wiped out every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from mankind to animals, to crawling things, and the birds of the sky, and they were wiped out from the earth; and only Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark.

So he waited another seven days longer; and again he sent out the dove from the ark.
