Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein[ is] the breath of life, from under heaven;[ and] every thing that[ is] in the earth shall die.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:

And also I have withholden the rain from you, when[ there were] yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.

Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and[ there was] not a man to till the ground.

And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:All in whose nostrils[ was] the breath of life, of all that[ was] in the dry[ land], died.And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained[ alive], and they that[ were] with him in the ark.

And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
