then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,

“ They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind.Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died.

They would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness.

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.

And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Will you keep to the old way that wicked men have trod?They were snatched away before their time; their foundation was washed away.They said to God,‘ Depart from us,’ and‘ What can the Almighty do to us?’
