the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment;

Riches profit not in the day of wrath; But righteousness delivereth from death.

And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.

Wilt thou keep the old way Which wicked men have trodden?Who were snatched away before their time, Whose foundation was poured out as a stream,Who said unto God, Depart from us; And, What can the Almighty do for us?
