Every living thing that moved on land perished— birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

Every living thing that moved on land died. The birds, the livestock and the wild animals died. All of the creatures that fill the earth also died. And so did every human being.

And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind.

All the living things on earth died— birds, domestic animals, wild animals, small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people.

Every creature perished— those that crawl on the earth, birds, livestock, wildlife, and those that swarm on the earth, as well as all mankind.

So all creatures that moved on the earth perished: birds, livestock, animals, and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind;

And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.

神對挪亞說：「在我面前，凡血肉之軀的結局已經臨到，因着他們，地上充滿了暴力。看哪，我要把他們和這地一起毀滅。

看哪，我要使洪水氾濫在地上，毀滅天下凡有生命氣息的血肉之軀，地上的一切都要滅亡。

因為再過七天，我要降雨在地上四十晝夜，把我所造的一切生物從地面上除滅。」

耶和華就因造人在地上感到遺憾，心中憂傷。耶和華說：「我要把所造的人和走獸，爬行動物，以及天空的飛鳥，都從地面上除滅，因為我造了他們感到遺憾。」

牠們前面有火吞噬，後面有火焰燒盡。牠們未到以前，地如伊甸園，過去以後，卻成了荒涼的曠野，沒有一樣能躲避牠們。

因為受造之物屈服在虛空之下，不是自己願意，而是因那使它屈服的叫他如此。但受造之物仍然指望從敗壞的轄制下得釋放，得享神兒女榮耀的自由。

你要依從上古的道嗎？這道是惡人行過的。他們未到時候就被抓去；他們的根基被江河沖去。他們向神說：『離開我們吧！』全能者能把他們怎麼樣呢？

那時，人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，直到挪亞進方舟的那日，洪水就來，把他們全都滅了。

耶和華啊，你認識我，看見我，你察驗我向你的心如何。求你將他們拉出來，如將宰的羊，為殺戮的日子分別出來。這地悲哀，一切田野的青草枯乾要到幾時呢？因其上居民的惡行，牲畜和飛鳥都滅絕了。因為他們說：「他看不見我們的結局。」

地必全然破壞，盡都崩裂，劇烈震動。

因此，這地悲哀，其上的居民、野地的走獸、天空的飛鳥都日趨衰微，海中的魚也必消滅。

「我的百姓愚頑，不認識我；他們是愚昧無知的兒女，有智慧行惡，沒有知識行善。」我觀看地，看哪，地是空虛混沌；我觀看天，天也無光。我觀看大山，看哪，盡都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。我觀看，看哪，無人；空中的飛鳥也都躲避。我觀看，看哪，肥田變為荒地；所有城鎮在耶和華面前，因他的烈怒都被拆毀。耶和華如此說：「全地必然荒涼，我卻不毀滅淨盡。

既然神也沒有寬容上古的世界，曾叫洪水臨到那不敬虔的世界，只保護了報公義信息的挪亞一家八口；

我們知道，一切受造之物一同呻吟，一同忍受陣痛，直到如今。

種子在土塊下朽爛，倉荒涼，廩破壞，因為五穀枯乾了。牲畜哀鳴，牛羣混亂，因無草場，羊羣也受苦。耶和華啊，我向你求告，因為有火吞噬野地的草場，火焰燒盡田野的樹木。田野的走獸切慕你，因為溪水乾涸，火吞噬了野地的草場。

我必除滅人與牲畜，除滅空中的鳥、海裏的魚、絆腳石和惡人；我必把人從地面上剪除，這是耶和華說的。

不知不覺洪水來了，把他們全都沖去。人子來臨也要這樣。

所以，詛咒吞滅大地，住在其上的都有罪；地上的居民被火焚燒，剩下的人稀少。
