Every living thing that moved on land perished— birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

Every living thing that moved on land died. The birds, the livestock and the wild animals died. All of the creatures that fill the earth also died. And so did every human being.

And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.So the Lord said,“ I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them.

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;

Will you keep to the old way Which wicked men have trod,Who were cut down before their time, Whose foundations were swept away by a flood?They said to God,‘ Depart from us! What can the Almighty do to them?’

They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

But You, O Lord, know me; You have seen me, And You have tested my heart toward You. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, And prepare them for the day of slaughter.How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said,“ He will not see our final end.”

The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly.

Therefore the land will mourn; And everyone who dwells there will waste away With the beasts of the field And the birds of the air; Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.

“ For My people are foolish, They have not known Me. They are silly children, And they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, But to do good they have no knowledge.”I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; And the heavens, they had no light.I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And all the hills moved back and forth.I beheld, and indeed there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled.I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, And all its cities were broken down At the presence of the Lord, By His fierce anger.For thus says the Lord:“ The whole land shall be desolate; Yet I will not make a full end.

and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;

For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.

The seed shrivels under the clods, Storehouses are in shambles; Barns are broken down, For the grain has withered.How the animals groan! The herds of cattle are restless, Because they have no pasture; Even the flocks of sheep suffer punishment.O Lord, to You I cry out; For fire has devoured the open pastures, And a flame has burned all the trees of the field.The beasts of the field also cry out to You, For the water brooks are dried up, And fire has devoured the open pastures.

“ I will consume man and beast; I will consume the birds of the heavens, The fish of the sea, And the stumbling blocks along with the wicked. I will cut off man from the face of the land,” Says the Lord.

and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left.
