Every living thing that moved on land perished— birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind.

上帝諭挪亞曰、凡有血氣者、厥期已盡、蓋其強暴遍滿於地、我將倂地而滅之、

我必使洪水氾濫於地、以滅天下有血氣之生物、凡在地者、淪胥以亡、

蓋越七日、我將降雨於地、四十晝夜、以殲所造之生物、

乃悔造人於地、心焉憂之、耶和華曰、將以我所造之人、以及牲畜昆蟲飛鳥、翦滅於地、蓋我造之而悔矣、

火燬其前、燄焚其後、其前之地、若伊甸園、其後之地、為荒涼之野、無有得免者、

蓋受造之物服於虛、非其本願、因服之者之故耳、

爾豈欲循古昔之道、惡人所履者乎、彼未及期而見奪、其基被衝若溪流、彼謂上帝曰、爾其去我、全能者能為我何為、

人食飲嫁娶、迨挪亞入方舟之日、洪水至而滅眾、

耶和華歟、爾知我、爾見我、試我向爾之心、惟彼惡人、當曳之出、如將宰之羊、別之以待殺期、斯土悲哀、四境草木枯槁、伊於胡底、因其居民行惡、禽獸盡滅、眾猶自謂、我之終局、彼必不及見之、○

地盡破壞、地悉崩裂、地大震撼、

故斯士愁慘、居民野獸、飛鳥衰殘、海魚被取、

我民蒙昧、而不我識、愚蠢之子、罔有聰慧、行惡有智、行善無智、○我觀大地則虛曠混沌、我觀諸天則無光、觀山嶽則震動、觀岡陵則搖撼、復觀四境無人、空中飛鳥悉去、我又觀之、見沃田成為荒野、諸邑毀於耶和華烈怒之前、蓋耶和華云、全地將成荒蕪、然我不盡滅之、

又不惜上古之世、降洪水於不虔者、惟存宣義之挪亞八人、

我知凡受造者、至今共歎劬勞、

穀種枯於鋤下、倉虛廩毀、禾稼憔悴、牲畜哀鳴、牛羣以無草而散亂、羊羣亦皆困苦、耶和華歟、我呼籲爾、火燬野間之草場、燄焚田間之諸木、野獸向爾而喘、蓋溪流涸竭、野間草場、為火所燬也、

殲滅人民牲畜、飛鳥海魚、及凡窒礙、與行惡者、我必絕人於地、耶和華言之矣、

人莫之知、及洪水至、盡沒之、人子之臨亦然、

故地亡於咒詛、處其上者干咎、居民被燬、所餘無幾、
