Every living thing that moved on land perished— birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

Every living thing that moved on land died. The birds, the livestock and the wild animals died. All of the creatures that fill the earth also died. And so did every human being.

And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind.

All the living things on earth died— birds, domestic animals, wild animals, small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people.

Every creature perished— those that crawl on the earth, birds, livestock, wildlife, and those that swarm on the earth, as well as all mankind.

So all creatures that moved on the earth perished: birds, livestock, animals, and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind;

And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.

神對挪亞說：“在我面前全人類的盡頭已經來到，因為地上由於他們的緣故滿了強暴。看哪，我要把他們和世界一起毀滅。

看哪，我要使洪水臨到地上，消滅天下的生物，就是有生氣的活物；在地上的都必定要死。

因為再過七天，我就要一連四十晝夜降雨在地上，我把所造的一切生物都從地上除滅。”

於是，耶和華後悔造人在地上，心中憂傷。耶和華說：“我要把我創造的人，從地上消滅；無論是人或牲畜，是爬行的動物或是天空的飛鳥，我都要消滅，因為我後悔造了他們。”

在他們前面有吞滅的火，在他們後面有燃燒的火燄；他們未到以前，大地像伊甸園，他們過去以後，大地成了荒涼的曠野，沒有一樣能逃避他們的。

因為被造的萬物服在虛空之下，不是自己願意這樣，而是由於使它屈服的那一位；

你要謹守古往的道，就是惡人所行走的嗎？他們未到時候，就被抓去，他們的根基被洪水沖去。他們對神說：‘離開我們吧！全能者能把我們怎麼樣呢？’

當時人們吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亞進入方舟的那一天，洪水來了，把他們全都滅掉。

但耶和華啊！你認識我，了解我，你察驗了我對你的心意。求你把他們拉出來，好像將宰的羊一般；求你把他們分別出來，留待宰殺的日子。這地悲哀，田野的青草都枯乾，要等到幾時呢？由於這地居民的惡行，走獸和飛鳥都滅絕了；因為他們說：“神看不見我們的結局。”

大地全然破壞，盡都崩裂，大大震動。

因此，這地必悲哀，地上所有的居民、田野的走獸、空中的飛鳥都必衰微、枯萎，連海裡的魚也要滅亡。

“我的子民愚妄，他們連我都不認識，是無知的兒女，沒有悟性；他們有智慧行惡，卻沒有知識行善。”我觀看地，地是空虛混沌；我仰視天，天上也全然無光。我觀看大山，它們盡都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。我觀看，毫無人跡；空中的飛鳥也逃掉了。我觀看，肥美田園變為荒野；在耶和華面前，就是在他烈怒之下，所有的城市都被拆毀。因為耶和華這樣說：“全國都必荒涼，我卻不盡行毀滅。

神也沒有姑息上古的世界，反而使洪水臨到那不敬虔的世人，只保存了傳義道的挪亞一家八口。

我們知道被造的萬物直到現在都一同在痛苦呻吟。

穀種在土塊底下朽爛，倉庫荒涼，穀倉破爛被拆毀，因為五穀都枯乾了。牲畜發出哀鳴，牛群到處流蕩，因為沒有草場給牠們，羊群也同樣受苦。耶和華啊！我向你呼求，因為火吞滅了曠野的草場，火燄燒盡了田間所有的樹木。田野的走獸也向你發喘，因為溪水都乾涸了，火吞滅了曠野的草場。

耶和華說：“我必除滅人類、牲畜、空中飛鳥、海裡的魚。我必使惡人跌倒，我必把人類從地上剪除。

等到洪水來到，把他們沖去，他們才明白過來；人子降臨的時候也是這樣。

因此，大地被咒詛吞滅，地上的居民要承擔懲罰。因此，地上的居民被焚燒，剩下的人很少。
