那些進去的、是凡有血肉、有公有母進去的，正如上帝所吩咐挪亞的。永恆主就把他們關在船裏頭。

住在至高者的隱密處的、就是居於全能者的蔭庇下。我要說到永恆主，我的避難所，我的營寨，我的上帝，我所倚靠的。他怎樣援救了你脫離捕鳥人的機檻，脫離毁滅人的陷阱；他用他自己的翎翼掩護着你；你避難於他的翅膀底下；他的忠信乃是盾牌圓楯。你不怕黑夜中的恐怖，白日間的飛箭；不怕幽暗中流行的瘟疫，或中午間滅人的毒病。雖有千人仆倒在你身旁，萬人倒斃在你右邊，這災也不能觸害着你。不過你要親眼看着，看到惡人遭報。你既將永恆主做你的避難所，將至高者做你的居所，禍患就必不臨到你，災病也不挨近你的家。

然後進屋裏，把門關上，使你和你兒子在裏面，將油倒在所有那些器皿裏，倒滿了的放在一邊。』於是婦人離開了以利沙而去、照這樣作：她把門關上，使自己和兒子在裏面；兒子把器皿拿到她跟前，她就倒油。

古來長存的上帝是你的居所；他永恆的膀臂支持着你。他把仇敵從你面前攆出，說：「消滅吧」！

那麼你就可以安然行路，你的腳不至於碰跌。

所以地雖起了改變，我們也不怕；山雖搖動到海心，我們也不驚；

（你們又是憑着信心、在上帝的能力中蒙守護）來得拯救，就是準備要在末後的時期才顯示出來的。

屬我的羊聽我的聲音，我認識他們，他們也跟着我。我將永生給予他們，他們必定永遠不滅亡；誰也不能從我手裏奪去。我父將他們給了我，他比一切都大，誰也不能從父手裏奪去。我與父原本為一。』
