We know that no one who depends on the law is made right with God. This is because“ the one who is right with God will live by faith.”( Habakkuk 2:4)

When Abram was 99 years old, the Lord appeared to him. He said,“ I am the Mighty God. Walk faithfully with me. Live in a way that pleases me.

And suppose Noah, Daniel and Job were in that country. Then these three men could save only themselves by doing what is right,” announces the Lord and King.

There was a man who lived in the land of Uz. His name was Job. He was honest. He did what was right. He had respect for God and avoided evil.

Yes, I want to know the power that raised him from the dead. I want to join him in his sufferings. I want to become like him by sharing in his death.Then by God’s grace I will rise from the dead.I have not yet received all these things. I have not yet reached my goal. Christ Jesus took hold of me so that I could reach that goal. So I keep pushing myself forward to reach it.Brothers and sisters, I don’t consider that I have taken hold of it yet. But here is the one thing I do. I forget what is behind me. I push hard toward what is ahead of me.I push myself forward toward the goal to win the prize. God has appointed me to win it. The heavenly prize is Christ Jesus himself.So all of us who are grown up in the faith should see things this way. Maybe you think differently about something. But God will make it clear to you.

Here is the story of the heavens and the earth when they were created. The Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

The good news shows God’s power to make people right with himself. God’s power to be made right with him is given to the person who has faith. It happens by faith from beginning to end. It is written,“ The one who is right with God will live by faith.”( Habakkuk 2:4)

Then Israel gave Joseph his blessing. He said,“ May God bless these boys. He is the God of my grandfather Abraham and my father Isaac. They walked faithfully with him. He is the God who has been my shepherd all my life right up to this day.

A man named Joseph was a member of the Jewish Council. He was a good and honest man.

Consider honest people who are without blame. People who seek peace will have a tomorrow.

The men replied,“ We have come from Cornelius, the Roman commander. He is a good man who worships God. All the Jewish people respect him. A holy angel told him to invite you to his house. Then Cornelius can hear what you have to say.”

Solomon answered,“ You have been very kind to my father David, your servant. That’s because he was faithful to you. He did what was right. His heart was honest. And you have continued to be very kind to him. You have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

It is true that there isn’t anyone on earth who does only what is right and never sins.

In Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was a good and godly man. He was waiting for God’s promise to Israel to come true. The Holy Spirit was with him.

“ The Babylonians are very proud. What they want is not good.“ But the person who is godly will live by his faithfulness.

“ My friends laugh at me all the time, even though I called out to God and he answered. My friends laugh at me, even though I’m honest and right.

The path of those who do right is like the sun in the morning. It shines brighter and brighter until the full light of day.

Asa didn’t remove the high places from Israel. But he committed his whole life completely to the Lord.

Amaziah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. But he didn’t do it with all his heart.
