耶和华看到人在地上罪恶深重，而且人心里的每个意念动机终日都是邪恶的。

耶和华见人在地上罪恶很大，终日所思想的尽都是恶，

永恆主見人類在地上壞透了，人類心思終日所計謀的、沒有別的、只是壞事；

耶和華看到人在地上罪惡深重，而且人心裡的每個意念動機終日都是邪惡的。

耶和華鑒觀世人、罪惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆為邪慝、

耶和華鑒觀世人、作惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆壞惡念。

主見人在世、罪惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆為奸惡、

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

The Lord saw how bad the sins of everyone on earth had become. They only thought about evil things.

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.

When the LORD saw that human wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every inclination of the human mind was nothing but evil all the time,

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually.

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

When the Lord saw that man’s wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every scheme his mind thought of was nothing but evil all the time,

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man[ was] great in the earth, and[ that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart[ was] only evil continually.

But the LORD saw that the wickedness of humankind had become great on the earth. Every inclination of the thoughts of their minds was only evil all the time.

Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.

因为从心里发出种种恶念：杀人、通奸、淫乱、偷窃、做伪证、毁谤，

既然人不愿意真正认识神，神就任凭他们存败坏的理性，去做那些不该做的事。他们充满了各种不义、邪恶、贪心、恶毒；满心是嫉妒、凶杀、纷争、欺诈、狠毒；他们搬弄是非、诽谤人、憎恨神、侮慢人、骄傲、自夸、制造恶行、悖逆父母、愚昧无知、不守信用、没有亲情、毫无怜悯。

因为从里面，就是从人心里发出种种恶念：淫乱、偷窃、杀人、通奸、贪心、恶意、欺诈、好色、嫉妒、毁谤、骄傲、愚妄，这一切邪恶都是从人里面出来的，而且使人污秽。”

在日光之下发生的一切事中，有一种祸患，就是每个人都有一样的命运；并且世人的心充满了恶事；他们一生心里狂妄，之后就归到死人那里。

耶和华闻到了那馨香之气，就心里说：“我绝不再因人的缘故诅咒这地，尽管人从年幼时就心怀邪恶；我也绝不再像我曾做的，毁灭所有的活物。

你们因着自己的过犯和罪孽，原是死的；在其中，你们从前行事为人，是顺着这世界的潮流，顺着那空中势力的掌权者，就是现今在那些不信从的儿女里面做工的灵。我们从前也都生活在他们中间，生活在自己肉体的欲望里，行肉体和意念所愿的事。我们正如其他人，生来也是震怒之下的儿女。

看哪，我只发现了一件事，就是神造人原是正直的，但人却寻找许多诡计。”

其实，我们从前也是无知、悖逆、被迷惑的，做各种欲望和享乐的奴仆，活在恶毒和嫉妒中，是可憎恶的，又彼此相恨。

愚顽人心里说：“没有神！”他们都败坏，行为可憎；没有人行善。耶和华从天上俯瞰世人，要看是否有明达人，是否有寻求神的人。所有的人都偏离正道，他们一同堕落；没有行善的，连一个也没有！难道所有作恶的都不明白吗？他们吞噬我的子民像吃饭那样，他们不呼求耶和华。

然后耶和华说：“控告所多玛和格摩拉的呼声非常大，他们的罪恶极其深重；我要下去，看看他们所做的一切，是不是像那上达我耳中的呼声；如果不是，我也会知道。”

那时所多玛人在耶和华面前罪大恶极。

那么怎么样呢？我们犹太人比别人好吗？当然不是！我们已经指出：犹太人和外邦人都在罪孽之下。正如经上所记：“没有义人，连一个也没有；没有领悟的，没有寻求神的。人人都远离了正道，一同成了无用的；没有仁慈的，连一个也没有。他们的喉咙是敞开的坟墓，他们用舌头玩弄诡诈，他们的嘴唇含有蛇毒，他们满口是咒骂和苦毒，他们的脚步为杀人流血而飞快，他们的路上只有毁灭和惨祸；和平之路，他们从来不知道。他们的眼目中没有对神的敬畏。”我们知道，律法上的一切话都是对律法之下的人讲的，好堵住每个人的口，使全世界的人都在神的审判之下有罪，
