永恆主見人類在地上壞透了，人類心思終日所計謀的、沒有別的、只是壞事；

耶和華看到人在地上罪惡深重，而且人心裡的每個意念動機終日都是邪惡的。

耶和華鑒觀世人、罪惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆為邪慝、

耶和華鑒觀世人、作惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆壞惡念。

主見人在世、罪惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆為奸惡、

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

The Lord saw how bad the sins of everyone on earth had become. They only thought about evil things.

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.

When the LORD saw that human wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every inclination of the human mind was nothing but evil all the time,

When the Lord saw that man’s wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every scheme his mind thought of was nothing but evil all the time,

For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:

And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers,backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,without understanding, covenant- breakers, without natural affection, unmerciful:

For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,covetings, wickednesses, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness:all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man.

O Jerusalem, wash thy heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thine evil thoughts lodge within thee?

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?

This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea also, the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.Jehovah looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.They are all gone aside; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon Jehovah?

No, in no wise: for we before laid to the charge both of Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin;as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one;There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God;They have all turned aside, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not so much as one:Their throat is an open sepulchre; With their tongues they have used deceit: The poison of asps is under their lips:Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:Their feet are swift to shed blood;Destruction and misery are in their ways;And the way of peace have they not known:There is no fear of God before their eyes.Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it speaketh to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God:

A heart that deviseth wicked purposes, Feet that are swift in running to mischief,

And he said unto me, Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the land.

How much less one that is abominable and corrupt, A man that drinketh iniquity like water!
