Yahweh said,“ My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.”

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的日子还可到一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的年岁还可到一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的年岁还可到一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既然是血肉之躯，我的灵不会永远住在人的里面，然而人还可以活一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既然是属肉体的，我的灵就不永远住在他里面，但他的日子还有一百二十年。”

耶和华就说：“我的灵不会永远住在人里面，因人是血肉之躯；他的年日只可以到一百二十年。”

永恆主說：『人類既是屬肉體的，我的靈就不永遠住在人類裏面：他在世的日子可以活到一百二十歲。』

耶和華就說：「我的靈不會永遠住在人裡面，因人是血肉之軀；他的年日只可以到一百二十年。」

耶和華曰、人既屬乎形軀、我神必不恆居其中、然其時日、尚可延至一百二十年、

耶和華曰、人既縱欲、我神必不恆牖其衷、然尚可延其生命、至於一百二十年。

主曰、人既為肉體、我之神不恆居於其內、或作我之神不永與之爭姑容其一百二十年、或作以後其壽命至一百二十年

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not struggle with human beings forever. They will have only 120 years to live.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.”

And the LORD said,“ My Spirit will not remain with mankind forever, because they are corrupt. Their days will be 120 years.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not remain with man forever, because he is also flesh; nevertheless his days shall be 120 years.”

And the Lord said,“ My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.

And the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not remain with mankind forever, because they are corrupt. Their days will be 120 years.”

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also[ is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

So the LORD said,“ My spirit will not remain in humankind indefinitely, since they are mortal. They will remain for 120 more years.”

Yet many years you put up with them, and testified against them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not listen. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,in whom he also went and preached to the spirits in prison,who before were disobedient, when God waited patiently in the days of Noah, while the ship was being built. In it, few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.

Don’t quench the Spirit.

He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes away, and doesn’t come again.

I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you don’t bear it yourself alone.

Therefore Yahweh says,‘ Behold, I will bring evil on them, which they will not be able to escape; and they will cry to me, but I will not listen to them.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,gentleness, and self- control. Against such things there is no law.Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Why, when I looked for it to yield grapes, did it yield wild grapes?

“ You stiff- necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.

About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying,“ Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God; for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be.Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

For I earnestly protested to your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, rising early and protesting, saying,“ Obey my voice.”
