And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also[ is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的日子还可到一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的年岁还可到一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的年岁还可到一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既然是血肉之躯，我的灵不会永远住在人的里面，然而人还可以活一百二十年。”

耶和华说：“人既然是属肉体的，我的灵就不永远住在他里面，但他的日子还有一百二十年。”

耶和华就说：“我的灵不会永远住在人里面，因人是血肉之躯；他的年日只可以到一百二十年。”

耶和華說：「人既屬乎血氣，我的靈就不永遠住在他裏面；然而他的日子還可到一百二十年。」

耶和華說：「人既屬乎血氣，我的靈就不永遠住在他裏面；然而他的年歲還可到一百二十年。」

耶和華說：「人既然是血肉之軀，我的靈不會永遠住在人的裡面，然而人還可以活一百二十年。」

耶和華說：“人既然是屬肉體的，我的靈就不永遠住在他裡面，但他的日子還有一百二十年。”

永恆主說：『人類既是屬肉體的，我的靈就不永遠住在人類裏面：他在世的日子可以活到一百二十歲。』

耶和華就說：「我的靈不會永遠住在人裡面，因人是血肉之軀；他的年日只可以到一百二十年。」

耶和華曰、人既屬乎形軀、我神必不恆居其中、然其時日、尚可延至一百二十年、

耶和華曰、人既縱欲、我神必不恆牖其衷、然尚可延其生命、至於一百二十年。

主曰、人既為肉體、我之神不恆居於其內、或作我之神不永與之爭姑容其一百二十年、或作以後其壽命至一百二十年

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not struggle with human beings forever. They will have only 120 years to live.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.”

And the LORD said,“ My Spirit will not remain with mankind forever, because they are corrupt. Their days will be 120 years.”

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not remain with man forever, because he is also flesh; nevertheless his days shall be 120 years.”

And the Lord said,“ My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.

And the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not remain with mankind forever, because they are corrupt. Their days will be 120 years.”

So the LORD said,“ My spirit will not remain in humankind indefinitely, since they are mortal. They will remain for 120 more years.”

Yahweh said,“ My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.”

Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy,[ and] he fought against them.

Quench not the Spirit.

For he remembered that they[ were but] flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.

And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which[ is] upon thee, and will put[ it] upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear[ it] not thyself alone.

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

[ This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are[ these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told[ you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers[ did], so[ do] ye.

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard[ speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

[ There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.For to be carnally minded[ is] death; but to be spiritually minded[ is] life and peace.Because the carnal mind[ is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.And if Christ[ be] in you, the body[ is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit[ is] life because of righteousness.But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day[ that] I brought them up out of the land of Egypt,[ even] unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
