Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.

Of the birds according to their kinds, and of the animals according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground, according to its kind, two of every sort shall come in to you to keep them alive.

Pairs of every kind of bird, and every kind of animal, and every kind of small animal that scurries along the ground, will come to you to be kept alive.

潔淨的畜類、和不潔淨的畜類、飛鳥和爬在地上的各樣昆蟲，都兩隻兩隻地來到挪亞那裏，進樓船；有公有母，照上帝所吩咐挪亞的。過了那七天，洪流的水就氾濫在地上了。當挪亞活了六百歲那一年，二月十七日這一天，大深淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的罅隙也敞開了。隨有傾盆大雨降在地上、四十晝又四十夜。就在這一天、挪亞就進了樓船；挪亞的兒子，閃、含、雅弗、和挪亞的妻子、跟他的三個兒媳婦也和他一同進去。他們和一切走獸、各從其類、一切牲口、各從其類，爬在地上的一切爬行動物、各從其類，一切禽鳥、各從其類：各種羽族各樣鳥兒：都進到挪亞那裏，入了樓船。凡有血肉的，就是裏面有生氣的活物，都兩隻兩隻地進去，那些進去的、是凡有血肉、有公有母進去的，正如上帝所吩咐挪亞的。永恆主就把他們關在船裏頭。

永恆主上帝用地上的塵土塑造了野地各樣走獸、和空中各樣飛鳥，帶到那人面前，看他給叫甚麼；那人怎樣叫各樣有生命的活物，那就是那活物的名字。

你們卻不情願來找我得生命！

上帝說：『水要滋生無數的活物，要有飛鳥飛在地上，天穹之中。』上帝就創造大魚、和滋生在水中各樣能行動的活物，各從其類；又創造各樣有翅膀的鳥兒，各從其類：上帝看這很好。上帝就給它們祝福說：『要繁殖增多，充滿海中的水；飛鳥也要增多在地上。』有晚上有早晨，是第五日。上帝說：『地要生出各種活物：牲口、昆蟲、和地上各種走獸：』就這樣成了。

上帝就給他們祝福說：『要繁殖增多，充滿全地，去征服它；也要管理海裏的魚、空中的飛鳥、和在地上行動的各樣活物。』

看見天開着，有一件器物降下來、像一塊大床單、繫着四角、放下來在地上。裏面有地上各樣的四足動物、昆蟲、和空中的飛鳥。
