Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.

Of the birds according to their kinds, and of the animals according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground, according to its kind, two of every sort shall come in to you to keep them alive.

洁净的牲畜和不洁净的牲畜，飞鸟和各种在地上爬行的动物，都是一公一母、一对一对来到挪亚那里，进入方舟，是照着神吩咐挪亚的。那七天一过，洪水就临到地上了。挪亚六百岁那一年，二月十七日那一天，所有大渊的泉源都裂开了，天上的窗户都敞开了。大雨倾盆下在地上，一连四十昼夜。就在那一天，挪亚带着他的儿子闪、含、雅弗，以及他的妻子和三个儿媳，一同进了方舟。他们一家，所有走兽各从其类，所有牲畜各从其类，所有在地上爬行的动物各从其类，所有有羽有翼的飞禽各从其类，有生命、有气息的，都是一对一对来到挪亚那里，进入方舟。那些进去的，都是有生命的，一公一母进去，是照着神吩咐挪亚的。耶和华跟着就把方舟关起来。

耶和华神用泥土造了野地的各样野兽，和空中的各样飞鸟，把它们都带到那人面前，看他给它们叫什么名字；那人怎样叫各样有生命的活物，那就是它的名字。

然而你们却不肯到我这里来得生命。

神说：“水要滋长生物；地上和天空之中，要有雀鸟飞翔！”于是，神创造了大鱼和在水中滋生各种能活动的生物，各从其类；又创造了各种有翅膀的飞鸟，各从其类。神看这是好的。神就赐福给它们，说：“要繁衍增多，充满海洋；雀鸟也要在地上增多！”有晚上，有早晨；这是第五日。神说：“地上要生出活物来，各从其类；牲畜、爬行的动物和地上的野兽，各从其类！”事就这样成了。

神就赐福给他们，对他们说：“要繁衍增多，充满这地，征服它；也要管理海里的鱼、空中的鸟和地上所有走动的生物。”

看见天开了，有一件东西，好像一块大布，绑着四角，降在地上。里面有地上的各样四足牲畜，还有昆虫和天空的飞鸟。
