但我要跟你立约，你与妻子、儿子和儿媳都可以进方舟。

But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark— you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.

But I will make my covenant with you. You will go into the ark. Your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives will enter it with you.

那天，挪亚与他的儿子闪、含和雅弗，还有挪亚的妻子和三个儿媳妇都进了方舟。

挪亚与妻子、儿子们和儿媳们都进了方舟，躲避洪水。

我要和你并你的子子孙孙立永恒的约，我要做你和你子孙的上帝。

“我要跟你们和你们的后代，以及所有和你们在一起、从方舟出来的飞禽走兽和牲畜等各种动物立约。我与你们立约，不再叫洪水淹没一切生灵，也不再让洪水毁灭大地。”上帝说：“我与你们及各种生灵立世代永存的约，我要给这个约一个记号。我把彩虹放在云中，作为我跟大地立约的记号。我使云彩覆盖大地的时候，会有彩虹在云中出现。这样我会记得我与你们及一切生灵所立的约，水就不会再泛滥淹灭所有生灵。当我看见彩虹在云中出现的时候，就会记得我与地上一切生灵立的永约。”

我的百姓啊，回到你们的房子里，关上门躲藏一会儿，等耶和华的愤怒平息。

“我要与你立约，你必成为许多民族的始祖。

他们就是从前在挪亚造方舟、上帝耐心等候人们悔改的时代中那些不肯信的人。当时进入方舟，从洪水中得救的人很少，只有八个人。

撒拉必在明年这时候给你生以撒，我必向他坚守我的约。”

挪亚因为有信心，在上帝指示他未来要发生的事之后，就怀着敬畏的心建造方舟，来救全家的人。他借着信心定了那个世代的罪，并承受了因信而来的义。

耶和华对挪亚说：“你和你一家都进入方舟，因为这个世代只有你在我眼中是义人。

上帝也没有容忍远古的世代，曾用洪水淹灭了世上不敬虔的恶人，只留下传讲上帝公义的挪亚和他的七位家人。
