上帝諭挪亞曰、凡有血氣者、厥期已盡、蓋其強暴遍滿於地、我將倂地而滅之、

上帝謂挪亞曰、緣世億兆、暴虐徧行、我必翦滅、使之云亡。○

天主謂挪亞曰、凡有血氣者將被我翦滅、因其強暴徧行、我將滅之於地、

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!

Then God said to Noah,“ I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.

Then God said to Noah,“ The end of humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

万物的结局近了。所以你们要谨慎自守，要警醒祷告。

“你，人子啊，主耶和华对以色列地如此说：结局，结局临到了地的四境！现在你的结局已经来临；我要使我的怒气临到你，也要按你的行为审判你，照你所做一切可憎的事惩罚你。我的眼必不顾惜你，也不可怜你，却要按你所做的报应你，照你们中间可憎的事惩罚你；你就知道我是耶和华。“主耶和华如此说：灾难，惟一的灾难，看哪，临近了！结局到了，结局到了，它要醒起来攻击你。看哪，它已来到！

以色列人哪，当听耶和华的话。耶和华指控这地的居民，因为在这地上无诚信，无慈爱，无人认识上帝；惟起誓、欺骗、杀害、偷盗、奸淫、残暴、流血又流血。

但主的日子要像贼一样来到；那日，天必在轰然一声中消失，天体都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的万物都要烧尽。既然这一切都要如此消失，你们处世为人必须圣洁敬虔，等候并催促上帝的日子来到。因为在那日，天要被火烧而消灭，天体都要被烈火熔化。

耶和华除灭了地面上各类的生物，包括人和牲畜、爬行动物，以及天空的飞鸟；他们就都从地上除灭了，只剩下挪亚和那些与他同在方舟里的。

这地在上帝面前败坏了，地上充满了暴力。上帝观看这地，看哪，它败坏了，因为凡血肉之躯在地上的行为都败坏了。

西缅和利未是兄弟；他们的刀剑是残暴的兵器。

他说：“阿摩司，你看见什么？”我说：“一筐夏天的果子。”耶和华对我说：“我子民以色列的结局到了，我必不再宽恕他们。

我观看地，看哪，地是空虚混沌；我观看天，天也无光。我观看大山，看哪，尽都震动，小山也都摇来摇去。我观看，看哪，无人；空中的飞鸟也都躲避。我观看，看哪，肥田变为荒地；所有城镇在耶和华面前，因他的烈怒都被拆毁。耶和华如此说：“全地必然荒凉，我却不毁灭净尽。因此，地要悲哀，天上也必黑暗；因为我言已出，我意已定，必不改变，也不由此转回。”

那时候有巨人在地上，后来也有；上帝的儿子们和人的女子们交合，生了孩子。那些人就是古代的勇士，有名的人物。

住在众水之上多有财宝的啊，你的结局已到！你贪婪之量已满盈！

藉着水，当时的世界被水淹没而消灭了。但现在的天地还是凭着上帝的话存留，直留到不敬虔之人受审判遭沉沦的日子，用火焚烧。

因着信，挪亚既蒙上帝指示他未见的事，动了敬畏的心，造了方舟，使他全家得救。藉此他定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那从信而来的义。
