Then God said to Noah,“ I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.

神對挪亞說：「一切血肉之軀的結局已經來到我面前，因為他們使大地充滿了殘暴；看哪，我要把他們與這地一起毀滅！

上帝諭挪亞曰、凡有血氣者、厥期已盡、蓋其強暴遍滿於地、我將倂地而滅之、

上帝謂挪亞曰、緣世億兆、暴虐徧行、我必翦滅、使之云亡。○

天主謂挪亞曰、凡有血氣者將被我翦滅、因其強暴徧行、我將滅之於地、

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to everyone. They have filled the earth with their harmful acts. I am certainly going to destroy them and the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!

Then God said to Noah,“ The end of humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Now the end of all things is near; therefore, be serious and disciplined for prayer.

“ Son of man, this is what the Lord God says to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.The end is now upon you; I will send My anger against you and judge you according to your ways. I will punish you for all your detestable practices.I will not look on you with pity or spare you, but I will punish you for your ways and for your detestable practices within you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”This is what the Lord God says: Look, one disaster after another is coming!An end has come; the end has come! It has awakened against you. Look, it is coming!

Hear the word of the Lord, people of Israel, for the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land: There is no truth, no faithful love, and no knowledge of God in the land!Cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and adultery are rampant; one act of bloodshed follows another.

But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godlinessas you wait for and earnestly desire the coming of the day of God. The heavens will be on fire and be dissolved because of it, and the elements will melt with the heat.

He wiped out every living thing that was on the surface of the ground, from mankind to livestock, to creatures that crawl, to the birds of the sky, and they were wiped off the earth. Only Noah was left, and those that were with him in the ark.

Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with wickedness.God saw how corrupt the earth was, for every creature had corrupted its way on the earth.

He asked me,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A basket of summer fruit.” The Lord said to me,“ The end has come for My people Israel; I will no longer spare them.

I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty. The Nephilim were on the earth both in those days and afterward, when the sons of God came to the daughters of mankind, who bore children to them. They were the powerful men of old, the famous men.

You who reside by many waters, rich in treasures, your end has come, your life thread is cut.

Through these waters the world of that time perished when it was flooded.But by the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family. By faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
