And God said to Noah,“ The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

万物的结局临近了，所以你们为了祷告的缘故应当清醒、谨慎。

这样，神抹掉了地面上的一切生物——从人到牲畜、到爬行之物、到天空的飞鸟，都从地上抹掉了；只留下挪亚和那些与他一起在方舟里的。

那时大地在神面前败坏了，地上充满残暴。神观看大地，看哪，它已经败坏了，因为一切血肉之躯在地上的行为都败坏了！

西缅和利未是兄弟，他们的刀剑是残暴的武器。

在那些日子和后来的日子，有巨人在地上；当时神的儿子们与人的女儿们结合生子；他们是古时的勇士、有名的人物。

藉着神的话语和水，当时的世界被水淹没就毁灭了；但现在的天和地，藉着他的话语得以存留，一直留到不敬神的人受审判和灭亡的日子，被火焚烧。

因着信，挪亚在那还看不见的事上得了神的指示，就动了敬畏的心，建造了一只方舟，以至于他的家人获救。藉着信，他定了世界的罪，自己也继承了从信而来的义。
