约瑟就让以色列的子孙起誓，说：“神必定眷顾你们，而你们要把我的骸骨从这里带上去。”

约瑟叫以色列的子孙起誓说：“神必定看顾你们；你们要把我的骸骨从这里搬上去。”

约瑟叫以色列的子孙起誓：“上帝必定眷顾你们，你们要把我的骸骨从这里带上去。”

And Joseph made the Israelites swear an oath and said,“ God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up from this place.”

Joseph made the Israelites promise him. He said,“ God will surely come to help you. Then you must carry my bones up from this place.”

Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying,“ God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”

Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear an oath, and he said,“ When God comes to help you and lead you back, you must take my bones with you.”

So Joseph made the sons of Israel take an oath:“ When God comes to your aid, you are to carry my bones up from here.”

Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying,“ God will assuredly take care of you, and you shall carry my bones up from here.”

Then Joseph took an oath from the children of Israel, saying,“ God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”

And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.

So Joseph made the sons of Israel take an oath:“ When God comes to your aid, you are to carry my bones up from here.”

Joseph made the sons of Israel swear an oath. He said,“ God will surely come to you. Then you must carry my bones up from this place.”

Joseph took an oath from the children of Israel, saying,“ God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”

因着信，约瑟临终的时候，提到以色列子民出埃及的事，也为自己的骸骨留下了遗言。

遗体被带回示剑，安放到亚伯拉罕在示剑用一笔银子从哈莫尔的子孙买来的坟墓里。

以色列的死期临近了，就叫来他儿子约瑟，对他说：“如果我在你眼前蒙恩，请你把手放在我大腿底下，以恩慈和真诚对待我，请你不要把我葬在埃及。我与我祖先长眠的时候，你要把我带出埃及，把我葬在他们的安葬之地。”约瑟说：“我必照着你的吩咐去做。”雅各说：“你要向我起誓。”约瑟就向他起誓。于是以色列就在床头敬拜。

‘我父亲曾经要我起誓，说：“看哪，我就要死了；你要把我葬在迦南地，葬在我为自己所掘的坟墓里。”现在求你让我上去，安葬我的父亲，然后我就回来。’”
