Then his brothers came and threw themselves down before Joseph.“ Look, we are your slaves!” they said.

His brothers then came and threw themselves down before him.“ We are your slaves,” they said.

“ We were out in the field, tying up bundles of grain. Suddenly my bundle stood up, and your bundles all gathered around and bowed low before mine!”His brothers responded,“ So you think you will be our king, do you? Do you actually think you will reign over us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dreams and the way he talked about them.Soon Joseph had another dream, and again he told his brothers about it.“ Listen, I have had another dream,” he said.“ The sun, moon, and eleven stars bowed low before me!”This time he told the dream to his father as well as to his brothers, but his father scolded him.“ What kind of dream is that?” he asked.“ Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow to the ground before you?”But while his brothers were jealous of Joseph, his father wondered what the dreams meant.

Since Joseph was governor of all Egypt and in charge of selling grain to all the people, it was to him that his brothers came. When they arrived, they bowed before him with their faces to the ground.

Joseph was still in his palace when Judah and his brothers arrived, and they fell to the ground before him.

May many nations become your servants, and may they bow down to you. May you be the master over your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow down to you. All who curse you will be cursed, and all who bless you will be blessed.”

“ I am Joseph!” he said to his brothers.“ Is my father still alive?” But his brothers were speechless! They were stunned to realize that Joseph was standing there in front of them.
