‘ This is what you shall say to Joseph:“ Please forgive, I beg you, the offense of your brothers and their sin, for they did you wrong.” ’ And now, please forgive the offense of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

‘你们要对约瑟这样说：从前你哥哥们恶待你，求你饶恕他们的过犯和罪恶。’如今求你饶恕你父亲神之仆人的过犯。”他们对约瑟说这话，约瑟就哭了。

‘从前你哥哥们恶待你，求你饶恕他们的罪恶和过犯。’我们是你父亲的上帝的仆人，求你饶恕我们的罪恶。”约瑟听见这些话，就哭了。

當謂約瑟曰、昔諸昆惡待於爾、請宥諸昆之罪、我儕為汝父上帝之僕、請赦我過、言間、約瑟哭焉、

昔諸昆仲、待汝不善、吾今令爾宥其過、惟我儕為汝父上帝之僕、請赦我罪、約瑟聞言而哭。

當如是語約瑟云、昔爾諸兄待爾不善、我命爾赦其過、宥其罪、我儕為爾父之天主之僕、今求赦我罪、諸兄向約瑟言之、約瑟哭、

‘ This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept.

He said,‘ Here’s what you must say to Joseph. Tell him,“ I’m asking you to forgive your brothers. Forgive the terrible things they did to you. Forgive them for treating you so badly.” ’ Now then, please forgive our sins. We serve the God of your father.” When their message came to Joseph, he wept.

‘ Say to Joseph,“ Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

to say to you:‘ Please forgive your brothers for the great wrong they did to you— for their sin in treating you so cruelly.’ So we, the servants of the God of your father, beg you to forgive our sin.” When Joseph received the message, he broke down and wept.

‘ Say this to Joseph: Please forgive your brothers’ transgression and their sin— the suffering they caused you.’ Therefore, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when their message came to him.

‘ Thus you shall say to Joseph:“ I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the transgression of thy brethren, and their sin, for that they did unto thee evil. And now, we pray thee, forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

‘ Say this to Joseph: Please forgive your brothers’ transgression and their sin— the suffering they caused you.’ Therefore, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when their message came to him.

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

‘ Tell Joseph this: Please forgive the sin of your brothers and the wrong they did when they treated you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sin of the servants of the God of your father.” When this message was reported to him, Joseph wept.

‘ You shall tell Joseph,“ Now please forgive the disobedience of your brothers, and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ Now, please forgive the disobedience of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.

Hearing this, the other ten began to feel indignant with James and John.

Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.

And the King will answer and say to them,‘ Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’

So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

Then Joseph said to his brothers,“ Please come closer to me.” And they came closer. And he said,“ I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold to Egypt.Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me ahead of you to save lives.

Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.

Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

From the God of your father who helps you, And by the Almighty who blesses you With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

And whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Then they said to one another,“ Truly we are guilty concerning our brother, because we saw the distress of his soul when he pleaded with us, yet we would not listen; for that reason this distress has happened to us.”Reuben answered them, saying,“ Did I not tell you,‘ Do not sin against the boy’; and you would not listen? Now justice for his blood is required.”They did not know, however, that Joseph understood, for there was an interpreter between them.Then he turned away from them and wept. But when he returned to them and spoke to them, he took Simeon from them and bound him before their eyes.

One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper, But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion.

He will sing to people and say,‘ I have sinned and perverted what is right, And it is not proper for me.He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, And my life will see the light.’

Therefore, though I have enough confidence in Christ to order you to do what is proper,yet for love’s sake I rather appeal to you— since I am such a person as Paul, an old man, and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I fathered in my imprisonment,who previously was useless to you, but now is useful both to you and to me.I have sent him back to you in person, that is, sending my very heart,whom I wanted to keep with me, so that in your behalf he might be at my service in my imprisonment for the gospel;but I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your goodness would not be, in effect, by compulsion, but of your own free will.For perhaps it was for this reason that he was separated from you for a while, that you would have him back forever,no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.If then you regard me as a partner, accept him as you would me.But if he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge that to my account;I, Paul, have written this with my own hand, I will repay it( not to mention to you that you owe to me even your own self as well).Yes, brother, let me benefit from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ.

And all who will follow this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.”

Though they intended evil against You And devised a plot, They will not succeed.

If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the fear of Isaac, had not been for me, surely now you would have sent me away empty handed. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, so He rendered judgment last night.”
