‘你们要对约瑟这样说：从前你哥哥们恶待你，你要饶恕他们的过犯和罪恶。’现在求你饶恕你父亲的上帝之仆人们的过犯。”他们对约瑟说了这话，约瑟就哭了。

‘你们要对约瑟这样说：从前你哥哥们恶待你，你要饶恕他们的过犯和罪恶。’现在求你饶恕你父亲的神之仆人们的过犯。”他们对约瑟说了这话，约瑟就哭了。

‘从前你哥哥们恶待你，求你饶恕他们的罪恶和过犯。’我们是你父亲的上帝的仆人，求你饶恕我们的罪恶。”约瑟听见这些话，就哭了。

‘你们要对约瑟这样说：从前你的哥哥们恶待你，求你饶恕他们的过犯和罪恶。现在求你饶恕你父亲的神之众仆人的过犯。’”约瑟听见这话就哭了。

‘你們要對約瑟這樣說：從前你的哥哥們惡待你，求你饒恕他們的過犯和罪惡。現在求你饒恕你父親的神之眾僕人的過犯。’”約瑟聽見這話就哭了。

「你們要對約瑟這樣說：從前你哥哥們以惡待你；懇求你饒恕他們的過犯和罪惡」：如今求你饒恕你父親的上帝之僕人的過犯。』他們對約瑟說話的時候，約瑟哭了。

當謂約瑟曰、昔諸昆惡待於爾、請宥諸昆之罪、我儕為汝父上帝之僕、請赦我過、言間、約瑟哭焉、

昔諸昆仲、待汝不善、吾今令爾宥其過、惟我儕為汝父上帝之僕、請赦我罪、約瑟聞言而哭。

當如是語約瑟云、昔爾諸兄待爾不善、我命爾赦其過、宥其罪、我儕為爾父之天主之僕、今求赦我罪、諸兄向約瑟言之、約瑟哭、

‘ This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept.

He said,‘ Here’s what you must say to Joseph. Tell him,“ I’m asking you to forgive your brothers. Forgive the terrible things they did to you. Forgive them for treating you so badly.” ’ Now then, please forgive our sins. We serve the God of your father.” When their message came to Joseph, he wept.

‘ Say to Joseph,“ Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

to say to you:‘ Please forgive your brothers for the great wrong they did to you— for their sin in treating you so cruelly.’ So we, the servants of the God of your father, beg you to forgive our sin.” When Joseph received the message, he broke down and wept.

‘ Say this to Joseph: Please forgive your brothers’ transgression and their sin— the suffering they caused you.’ Therefore, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when their message came to him.

‘ This is what you shall say to Joseph:“ Please forgive, I beg you, the offense of your brothers and their sin, for they did you wrong.” ’ And now, please forgive the offense of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

‘ Thus you shall say to Joseph:“ I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the transgression of thy brethren, and their sin, for that they did unto thee evil. And now, we pray thee, forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

‘ Say this to Joseph: Please forgive your brothers’ transgression and their sin— the suffering they caused you.’ Therefore, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when their message came to him.

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

‘ Tell Joseph this: Please forgive the sin of your brothers and the wrong they did when they treated you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sin of the servants of the God of your father.” When this message was reported to him, Joseph wept.

‘ You shall tell Joseph,“ Now please forgive the disobedience of your brothers, and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ Now, please forgive the disobedience of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

「要知道，你們如果饒恕別人的過犯，你們的天父也會饒恕你們。你們如果不饒恕別人，你們的父也不會饒恕你們的過犯。

所以你們當彼此認罪，彼此代求，好使你們得痊癒。義人所做的祈禱是大有力量的。

其他十個使徒聽了，就開始對雅各和約翰很不滿。

要以仁慈彼此相待，心存憐憫，互相饒恕，就像神在基督裡饒恕了你們那樣。

因此，你們身為蒙神揀選、聖潔和蒙愛的人，就應當穿上憐憫的心腸，以及仁慈、謙卑、溫柔、耐心。如果一個人對另一個人懷有不滿，總要彼此容忍，互相饒恕。正如主饒恕了你們，你們也當如此。

「王要回答他們，說：『我確實地告訴你們：你們為我這些弟兄中最小的一個所做的事，就是為我做了。』

由此可見，我們一有機會，就要向眾人做美善的事，尤其要對信徒家裡的人。

約瑟對他的兄弟們說：「請你們靠近我一些！」他們就靠近一些。他說：「我是你們的兄弟約瑟，就是被你們賣到埃及的約瑟。現在，不要因你們把我賣到這裡而自憂自恨；要知道，是神在你們之前派遣了我，為要拯救生命。

這樣看來，派遣我到這裡來的，不是你們，而是神。他立我作法老之父，作他全家之主，又作埃及全地的管轄者。

從前你們有意要害我，但神在其中有他的美意，為要成就今日這樣的結果，使許多人得以存活。

你們要謹慎！如果你的弟兄犯了罪，就告誡他；如果他悔改，就饒恕他。如果他一天七次對你犯了罪，又七次回轉過來，對你說：『我悔改！』你要饒恕他。」

出於你父親的神，因他幫助你。全能者必把天上來的福、地下深淵蘊藏著的福、哺乳和生育的福，都賜給你。

無論誰，因著門徒的名份，就是拿一杯涼水給這些卑微人中的一個喝，我確實地告訴你們：他絕不會失去他的報償。」

願你饒恕我們的虧欠，如同我們也饒恕了虧欠我們的人。

他們彼此說：「我們在弟弟的事上實在有罪。他懇求我們的時候，我們見他心中苦楚，卻不肯聽，所以現在這苦楚臨到我們了。」魯本就回應他們，說：「我不是對你們說過：『不要對那孩子犯罪』嗎？可是你們不肯聽；看哪，他的血債現在來追討了！」他們並不知道約瑟是能聽懂的，因為他們和約瑟之間有人傳譯。約瑟轉身離開他們，哭了一場，又回來與他們說話，並從他們那裡挑出西緬，在他們眼前把他捆綁起來。

掩蓋自己過犯的，不會興盛；承認並離棄過犯的，必蒙憐憫。

所以，雖然我在基督裡大有膽量，可以吩咐你去做合宜的事，但為了愛的緣故，我寧願懇求你。我保羅——像我這樣一個老人，而現在又是基督耶穌的囚犯——為我在捆鎖中所生的孩子奧尼斯莫，懇求你。他從前對你沒有益處，但如今對你、對我都有益處了。我把他本人送回你那裡，就是說，把我的情感送回你那裡。我本來想把他留在自己身邊，好讓他在我為福音被捆鎖的期間，能替你服事我。但是沒有你的同意，我就不願意做什麼，好讓你的美善之事不是出於勉強，而是出於自願。其實，他暫時離開你，或許正是為了使你可以永遠得著他——不再像一個奴僕，而是高於奴僕，是一位蒙愛的弟兄。他對我尤其是這樣，更何況對你呢！無論是在肉體上或在主裡面都是這樣。因此，你如果把我當做同伴，就請接納他，像接納我一樣。如果他虧負過你什麼，或現在欠了你什麼，請把它算在我的帳上。我保羅親手寫下：我必償還——免得我對你說，連你自己也是欠我的呢！是的，弟兄！願我在主裡從你得到喜樂，請你使我的情感在基督裡得到安寧。

凡是照著這原則行走的人，願平安和憐憫臨到他們，也臨到神的以色列民！

如果你們每個人不從心裡饒恕自己的弟兄，我的天父也會照樣對待你們。」

他們雖然向你圖謀惡事、謀劃詭計，卻不能成功，

要不是我父親的神，亞伯拉罕的神，以撒所敬畏的那一位與我同在，你現在一定會打發我空手而去。神看到我的苦情和我手上的辛勞，就在昨夜責備了你。」
