以撒年紀老邁，歲數滿足，氣絕而死，被收殮歸他先族人；他的兒子以掃雅各把他埋葬了。

瑪拿西跟他列祖一同長眠，埋葬在他自己宮院的園中、在烏撒的園子裏；他兒子亞們接替他作王。

從此那塊田地和其中的洞、就定準赫人轉歸亞伯拉罕做產業為墳地。
