我心不與同謀、我神不與共會、蓋其乘怒而戕人命、縱欲而斷牛筋、

我心不願與同謀、我意不願與共會、其乘怒而殺人、其縱欲而圮垣。

我心不願與之同謀、我靈不欲與之共會、因其乘怒殺戮人、縱欲殘害牛、

Let me not enter their council, let me not join their assembly, for they have killed men in their anger and hamstrung oxen as they pleased.

I won’t share in their plans. I won’t have anything to do with them. They became angry and killed people. They cut the legs of oxen just for the fun of it.

Let my soul come not into their council; O my glory, be not joined to their company. For in their anger they killed men, and in their willfulness they hamstrung oxen.

May I never join in their meetings; may I never be a party to their plans. For in their anger they murdered men, and they crippled oxen just for sport.

雅各对西缅和利未说：“你们连累我，使我在这地的居民中，就是在迦南人和比利洗人中，有了臭名。我的人丁既然稀少，他们必聚集来击杀我，我和全家的人都必灭绝。”

不要把我的灵魂和罪人一同除掉；不要把我的性命和流人血的一同除掉。

因此，我的心欢喜，我的灵快乐；我的肉身也要安然居住。

求你把我隐藏，使我脱离作恶之人的暗谋和作孽之人的扰乱。

我的灵啊，你当醒起！琴瑟啊，你们当醒起！我自己要极早醒起！

义人的思念是公平；恶人的计谋是诡诈。

我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望神，因我还要称赞他。他是我脸上的光荣，是我的神。

你们和不信的原不相配，不要同负一轭。义和不义有什么相交呢？光明和黑暗有什么相通呢？

我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望神，因他笑脸帮助我；我还要称赞他。

基顺古河把敌人冲没；我的灵啊，应当努力前行。

我没有坐在宴乐人的会中，也没有欢乐；我因你的感动独自静坐，因你使我满心愤恨。

“‘暗中杀人的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’

然后要对我的灵魂说：灵魂哪，你有许多财物积存，可作多年的费用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快乐吧！’

我没有和虚谎人同坐，也不与瞒哄人的同群。我恨恶恶人的会，必不与恶人同坐。

好叫我的灵歌颂你，并不住声。耶和华我的神啊，我要称谢你，直到永远！

不从恶人的计谋，不站罪人的道路，不坐亵慢人的座位，

那藉着律例架弄残害、在位上行奸恶的，岂能与你相交吗？他们大家聚集攻击义人，将无辜的人定为死罪。

我的心哪，你要称颂耶和华！凡在我里面的，也要称颂他的圣名！

我的肺腑啊，我的肺腑啊，我心疼痛！我心在我里面烦躁不安。我不能静默不言，因为我已经听见角声和打仗的喊声。

神啊，求你定他们的罪！愿他们因自己的计谋跌倒；愿你在他们许多的过犯中把他们逐出，因为他们背叛了你。

到第三天，众人正在疼痛的时候，雅各的两个儿子，就是底拿的哥哥西缅和利未，各拿刀剑，趁着众人想不到的时候来到城中，把一切男丁都杀了，又用刀杀了哈抹和他儿子示剑，把底拿从示剑家里带出来就走了。

他们若说：“你与我们同去，我们要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害无罪之人；

神啊，你必要杀戮恶人；所以，你们好流人血的，离开我去吧！

我儿，不要与他们同行一道，禁止你脚走他们的路。因为，他们的脚奔跑行恶；他们急速流人的血，

不要把我和恶人并作孽的一同除掉；他们与邻舍说和平话，心里却是奸恶。
