耶和華把他帶到外面，說：「你向天觀看，如果你能數清星辰，就去數吧！」又對他說：「你的後裔也必如此眾多。」

但他的弓依然堅硬，他的手臂敏捷，這是出於雅各的大能者之手，出於以色列的牧者、以色列的磐石，出於你父親的神，因他幫助你。全能者必把天上來的福、地下深淵蘊藏著的福、哺乳和生育的福，都賜給你。你父親的祝福勝過我祖先的祝福，達到永世山嶺的極限。願這些祝福臨到約瑟的頭上，就是臨到從兄弟中分別出來的那位的頭頂。

「主啊，現在可以照你的話，讓你的奴僕平平安安地離去，
