卻要承認他不喜愛的妻子的兒子為長子，把所有的產業分兩份給他，因為這兒子是他強壯有力的時候所生的頭生子，長子的權利本是屬於他的。

他在埃及擊殺了所有的長子，在含的帳棚中擊殺了他們強壯時生的頭胎子。

利亞懷孕，生了一個兒子，就給他起名叫流本，因為她說：“耶和華看見了我的苦情，現在我的丈夫必愛我了。”

他擊殺了他們境內所有的長子，就是他們強壯的時候所生的頭生子。

以色列的長子流本的兒子如下（流本雖然是長子，但是因為他玷污了他父親的床，他長子的名分就歸給以色列的兒子約瑟的兒子，所以按著家譜他不算是長子。

以色列的兒子是：流本、西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、西布倫、

約瑟對他父親說：“爸爸啊，不是這樣，這個才是長子，請你把右手按在他的頭上。”

以色列的長子，流本子孫的後代，照著宗族、父家，根據人名數目，按著人口，二十歲及以上，能出去打仗的男丁，都登記了；

來到埃及的以色列人，就是雅各和他的子孫，名單記在下面：雅各的長子是流本。

以色列的長子流本：流本的子孫，屬哈諾的，有哈諾家族；屬法路的，有法路家族；

以色列的長子流本的兒子是哈諾、法路、希斯倫和迦米。
