The sixth allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali.Its boundary ran from Heleph, from the oak at Zaanannim, and extended across to Adami nekeb, Jabneel, and as far as Lakkum, ending at the Jordan River.The western boundary ran past Aznoth tabor, then to Hukkok, and touched the border of Zebulun in the south, the border of Asher on the west, and the Jordan River on the east.The fortified towns included in this territory were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,Kedesh, Edrei, En hazor,Yiron, Migdal el, Horem, Beth anath, and Beth shemesh— nineteen towns with their surrounding villages.The homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali included these towns and their surrounding villages.

But Zebulun risked his life, as did Naphtali, on the heights of the battlefield.

“ In the land of Zebulun and of Naphtali, beside the sea, beyond the Jordan River, in Galilee where so many Gentiles live,the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.”

At Kedesh, Barak called together the tribes of Zebulun and Naphtali, and 10,000 warriors went up with him. Deborah also went with him.

The sons of Naphtali were Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem.

One day she sent for Barak son of Abinoam, who lived in Kedesh in the land of Naphtali. She said to him,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, commands you: Call out 10,000 warriors from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun at Mount Tabor.

He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow.
