The right to rule will not leave Judah. The ruler’s scepter will not be taken from between his feet. It will be his until the king it belongs to will come. The nations will obey that king.

The LORD will pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves of the sea; all the depths of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will come to an end.

For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our Lawgiver, the LORD is our King. He will save us.

He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed of Israel; he will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.Ephraim’s envy will cease; Judah’s harassing will end. Ephraim will no longer be envious of Judah, and Judah will not harass Ephraim.

Since I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples,so you will summon a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you will run to you. For the LORD your God, even the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you.”

He will not break a bruised reed, and he will not put out a smoldering wick; he will faithfully bring justice.He will not grow weak or be discouraged until he has established justice on earth. The coasts and islands will wait for his instruction.”

Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an Anointed One, the ruler, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times.

As for me, if I am lifted up from the earth I will draw all people to myself.”

And again, Isaiah says, The root of Jesse will appear, the one who rises to rule the Gentiles; the Gentiles will hope in him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

“ I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”I will declare the LORD’s decree. He said to me,“ You are my Son; today I have become your Father.Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance and the ends of the earth your possession.You will break them with an iron scepter; you will shatter them like pottery.”

Look, the LORD has proclaimed to the ends of the earth,“ Say to Daughter Zion: Look, your salvation is coming, his wages are with him, and his reward accompanies him.”

On that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will look to him for guidance, and his resting place will be glorious.

“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on that day and become my people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.

Jacob’s leader will be one of them; his ruler will issue from him. I will invite him to me, and he will approach me, for who would otherwise risk his life to approach me? This is the LORD’s declaration.

For my eyes have seen your salvation.You have prepared it in the presence of all peoples—a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to your people Israel.

Nations will come to your light, and kings to your shining brightness.Raise your eyes and look around: they all gather and come to you; your sons will come from far away, and your daughters on the hips of nursing mothers.Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will tremble and rejoice, because the riches of the sea will become yours and the wealth of the nations will come to you.

It had strong branches, fit for the scepters of rulers; its height towered among the clouds. So it was conspicuous for its height as well as its many branches.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Peoples will yet come, the residents of many cities;the residents of one city will go to another, saying: Let’s go at once to plead for the LORD’s favor and to seek the LORD of Armies. I am also going.Many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Armies in Jerusalem and to plead for the LORD’s favor.”The LORD of Armies says this:“ In those days, ten men from nations of every language will grab the robe of a Jewish man tightly, urging: Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

The seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.

Fire has gone out from its main branch and has devoured its fruit, so that it no longer has a strong branch, a scepter for ruling. This is a lament and should be used as a lament.”

I will shake all the nations so that the treasures of all the nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,” says the LORD of Armies.

Then the crowds who went ahead of him and those who followed shouted: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!

From that moment Pilate kept trying to release him. But the Jews shouted,“ If you release this man, you are not Caesar’s friend. Anyone who makes himself a king opposes Caesar!”
