Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” He said,“ Please bring them to me, and I will bless them.”

约瑟对他父亲说：“他们是我的儿子，是神在这里赐给我的。”以色列说：“把他们带到我这里，好让我祝福他们。”

約瑟曰、此乃天主於斯地、所賜我之二子、曰、可攜之前、我為之祝福、

“ They are the sons God has given me here,” Joseph said to his father. Then Israel said,“ Bring them to me so I may bless them.”

And Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons God has given me here.” So Israel said,“ Bring them to me and I will bless them.”

And Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” So he said,“ Bring them to me, please, so that I may bless them.”

Make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.”

By faith, Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying,“ Because I have asked him of Yahweh.”

Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said,“ May Yahweh give you offspring from this woman for the petition which was asked of Yahweh.” Then they went to their own home.Yahweh visited Hannah, and she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. The child Samuel grew before Yahweh.

God give you of the dew of the sky, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers. Let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you. Blessed be everyone who blesses you.”

Obed- Edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, and Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him.

Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father spoke to them, and blessed them. He blessed everyone according to his own blessing.

I prayed for this child, and Yahweh has given me my petition which I asked of him.

All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father,“ Bless me, even me also, my father.”He said,“ Your brother came with deceit, and has taken away your blessing.”He said,“ Isn’t he rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright. Bless me, even me also, my father.” Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.Isaac his father answered him,“ Behold, your dwelling will be of the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of the sky from above.You will live by your sword, and you will serve your brother. It will happen, when you will break loose, that you will shake his yoke from off your neck.”

May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your offspring with you, that you may inherit the land where you travel, which God gave to Abraham.”

Behold, I and the children whom Yahweh has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Yahweh of Armies, who dwells in Mount Zion.

May Yahweh make the woman who has come into your house like Rachel and like Leah, which both built the house of Israel; and treat you worthily in Ephrathah, and be famous in Bethlehem.Let your house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, of the offspring which Yahweh will give you by this young woman.”So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and he went in to her, and Yahweh enabled her to conceive, and she bore a son.The women said to Naomi,“ Blessed be Yahweh, who has not left you today without a near kinsman. Let his name be famous in Israel.

Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in God’s place, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Let no foreigner who has joined himself to Yahweh speak, saying,“ Yahweh will surely separate me from his people.” Do not let the eunuch say,“ Behold, I am a dry tree.”For Yahweh says,“ To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant,I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
